Yay for this thread! :D
On the whole, I found the episode to be disappointing and not that good. So weird to see duets + takkar..and no trios..
The kids: I love these 4! They're amazing.
Amar-Vandana: Didn't like it. It started off well, and then went downhill. It was all over Amar's face that the dance was difficult--like you said. Amar one of my favorites but I was majorly disappointed with him. Vandana was okay-ish...seemed more confident than Amar. Overall, I didn't think it was much of a samba. Jai was bang on with the critique.
Siddesh-Bhavna: Bhavna is just sooo graceful! She was terribly shortchnaged in DID1 but I'm so glad she's getting this platform to showcase her talent and shine! It was an average-ish performance though. I personally expected something aamzing but it didn't quite happen.
Rutu-Vaishu: These 2 are just so cute..I love watching them dance! But I didn't find their duet to be that good.
Jai-Vrushali: I honestly was waiting to see them do a duet again..I LOVE their duets..Hai Rama is one of my top favorite duets of all time in DID. I thought they had really good chemistry but there were some obvious mistakes in their dance. I thought it was the best duet of the day but not upto Jai-Vrushali's magical standards. I love their bond though...I thought it was cute how Vrush was so happy when Shiamak paised Jai and when Remo pointed a mistake in Jai she got a little sad for him..
Parvez vs. Alisha: Parvez totally OWNED Alisha. I think Alisha hasn't kept up with her dancing since DID ended. Where did the DID1 Alisha go? I want her back! But Parvez was amazing! I loved him!
Jalwa group: This was by far my favorite Jalwa performance of the day..and I think their best group one also. I really liked it..too bad the flag didn't work out.
Josh group: This was Josh's best group performance so far! I love watching bhangra and Man how strong is Mayuresh! Lifiting both Alisha and Prince and spinning!
