Awesome part....thank god Maan is repenting for war he did to Geet!! Cant wait to read wat happens next...plz cont soon!! Oh and I like the way u write now with both past and present....tht way it adds to the suspence factor so yea I say just keep writing the way u are now ;).

sorry for the late response

it was a nicely written update

Geet's father was true she died because of him

hope he realised his mistake

but as I read your FF I always feel that she may be Geet she may be Mahi but she loves Maan

hope my gut feeling is not true and if it is true please let Maan realise what he did

it up to you how you want to proceed

but not much is left of th epast now as it seems

lovely update...............just correlate bw past and present as b4..............i dont want maan to find abt geet............wat if he hasnt changed a bit..............then he wud make geet's life hell again..................but things r turning very interesting now.............oh precap sounds scary....................pl cont soon

Chapter 11

The next day Maan went to meet Suraj in the office...the image of Geet kept popping in his head...he wanted to make sure of what he saw was not true...he put his hand in his pocket and takes out Geet's mangalsutre...he looks ahead and sees Suraj looking at him....(guys this could be seen as a symbolic...he is holding her mangalsture and right in front of the magalsutre is Suraj standing) Maan looks at him and quickly puts it away...
Maan: umm hi

Suraj: Hi...I didn't know you are married (Maan looks at him) I saw you holding the magalsutre

Maan: umm yeah it belongs to my wife Geet

Suraj: ohh...you should've brought her with you

Maan: she is no more...anyway let's go down to business

Suraj: ohh yeah...I am sorry my fiance still didn't get a chance to look at the designs...

Maan: ohh no problem we can ask her when she comes in today

Suraj: she is not coming in today...she is sick

Maan: What is her name?

Suraj: Its Mahi...umm anyway we can take a look at it together and go over other essential things...at night I can ask for her opinion

Maan: Well I have to go to Delhi for my other work..so if you don't mind if I come with you so that I can make note of any changes and have my team work on it

Suraj: umm sure...that is fine..let's go than

Maan (smirked..."I need to know what I saw was not true") Let's go

Flashback:
Geet: Excuse me could you direct me to Mr. Khurana's office

Sasha: who are you? (Looks at her from top to bottom) He is in a meeting right now...you could leave a message

Geet: I am his wife...now direct me to his office

Adi: Geet Ma'am sorry about that..She was away for a while and didn't know about Maan's sirs wedding...you could come with me and I will direct you to his office

Geet: Thank you

Adi: Here is his cabin...you can wait in there and I will let Maan Sir know as soon as he is done with his meeting (Geet smiled...she entered the cabin and sat on his chair...she opened his desktop and saw their marriage picture...she smiled...she waited for almost 20 minutes when she finally heard the door open..she looked up and saw that it wasn't Maan)

"sorry I thought this was Maan Khurana's office"

Geet: ohh it is..I am his wife..he is in a meeting right now

"ohh than I can give you the invitation"

Geet: invitaion?

"yeah..sorry I forgot to introduce myself..Hi am Armaan" (brings out his hand to shake)

Geet (shakes his hand); Nice to meet you...I am Geet

Armaan: Geet hmm nice name...anyway I am having a office party...

Geet: ohh I will tell Maan when he comes....

Armaan: Ok well see you at the party..it is tonight...bye (He leaves....)

Outside of Maan's office:
Armaan bumps into Maan who was talking on the phone...Maan's phone drop..
Maan: Can't you see where you are going?

Armaan: Sorry Maan...

Maan: Armaan what brings you here?

Armaan: I came to drop off an invitation to my office party....I gave it to your wife Geet...must say you have a beautiful wife...

Maan: How did you meet her? (Angry)

Armaan: She is in your office...waiting for you...She is really nice...make sure to invite her with you tonight at the party

Maan: hmm ok..I gotta go now...(Maan walked away and entered his office and saw Geet sitting there with her head down looking at their wedding picture on the computer screen....she jerked when she heard Maan...)What are you doing here?

Geet: Wohh main aap ke liye lunch laayi thi

Maan: hmm...(He came near Geet...and kissed her on her lips...he picked Geet up by her waist and he sat on his chair pulling Geet on his lap...he called the receptionist and told her to hold all his calls and not to disturb) Why didn't you just call me?

Geet: I did..they told me that you were in a meeting and didn't know when you will be done..so I thought to bring the lunch to you instead

Maan: What did you make?

Geet: Aapka favorite Palak Paneer...(she gets up and brings the tiffin to him..she serves him the food) Ohh I forgot aapka koi client aaya tha...Armaan...usne yeh invitation card dia tha aaj ki koyi office party hai uske ghar (Maan hands make a fist out of anger) Maine kaha tha ki woh aapki wait kar sakta hai par usne baat nahi suni....(Maan pulls Geet by force...Geet falls on his lap without any notice...she looked into his eyes which shot daggars at her....she got scared....) mmmm mmmaaann

Maan (holds her hair): Why do you always test my patience? I don't want to hear any other name from your mouth other than mine...do you get it? (She nodded her head yes...he lets go of her hair...he lets her go in such a impact that she almost falls on her floor if it hadn't been for Maan to hold her hand on time)

Geet: mujhe ghar jana hai...(tears pouring down her face...Maan picked her up and put her on top of a table) Yeh aap...

Maan: kya tum kuch kehene ke liye aayi thi?

Geet (looked down): woh main

Maan: Geet.....

Geet: Its papa's birthday next week and we have to go

Maan: And if I say no?

Geet: unho ne invite kya hai...humne jana hai

Maan: Yeah I heard you once...dekhte hai...(Maan stands up...he picks Geet up and brings her to the sofa...)

Geet: Maan mujhe yaha kyun...

Maan: if you want to go to your papa's party there is a price to pay...

Geet: Maan please ghar main...koyi aa jaye ga

Maan: tum bhool gayi ho ki yeh mera office hai...agar tumhe itni fikar hai toh ek minute....(He called the receptionist and told everyone they can go home..within few minutes the whole company was empty) Happy (he comes closer to her again...Geet moves back a little)

Geet: Maan...no...(she tried to move back but Maan held her feet)

Maan: Geet you are my wife...mujhe tum par pura haq hai...(With that he takes his shirt off and than comes on top of Geet...he removes her sari pallu and starts making love to her aggressively)

At night both Maan and Geet went to Armaans party....Maan had his arm around her waist holding her protectively. His grip only got tighter and tighter as Maan's pervious clients came up to meet Maan. Geet all this while looked down...she just stood there while Maan talked to his clients. Geet was getting bored at the party, there was nothing to do. She looked around and she felt sort of jealous when she saw this one couple lovingly holding each others hands and dancing away as if they are all alone and no one mattered.
Geet: Maan woh mujhe restroom jana hai...

Maan: hmm jaldi aana...(he lets go of her...Geet walks to the bathroom and holds her tears back....after few minutes Geet comes out of the bathroom and bumbs into Armaan

Armaan: Ohh Hi Geet...when did you come?

Geet: umm just few minutes back...

Armaan: What do you think about the party?

Geet: Ohh its really nice...

Armaan: Not as nice as Maan's...that Maan throws the best parties...(Geet smiles...she looks around to see if Maan saw her talking to him...she was relieved when he wasn't paying attention..)

Geet: umm i have to go meet Maan

Armaan: ok see you around...nice meeting you again (he brings out his hand and Geet hesitantly shakes his hand)

Maan who was talking to his client became enraged when he saw Armaan and Geet talking and shaking hands....Maan knew nothing...as Geet was walking toward Maan...he walks up to her and holds her hand and drags her out...he opens the car door and shoves her in....Geet was scared at his anger...she wondered what happened all of a sudden..she watched Maan as he came around the car and sat in the drivers seat and started driving home....Geet all this while just looked at Maan...she tried speaking but nothing came out of her mouth....soon they had arrived home...Maan gets out of the car..the force that he slammed the door shook Geet...he came around and opened her passenger door and took Geet out...he drags her inside the house and throws her on the floor...Nakul came running seeing this...he wanted to help Geet but stopped when he saw Maan looking at him with deadly glare....he backed up...
Nakul: Sir

Maan: LEAVE NOW!!!!!!!!! (Both Geet and Nakul jumped hearing Maan roar like that...Nakul rightaway left giving Geet one last look..feeling helpless...he comes near Geet...he holds her hand and picks her up...)

End Flashback!

Suraj rings the bell of Geet's house...she opens the door...
Mahi: Suraj what are you doing here now? Shouldn't you be at work

Suraj: I wanted you to look at the desgins before I make the final decision

Mahi: ohh come in...why do you need my input...

Suraj: Mahi come on you are my finance...and I don't want to maek all the decision myself now (she was about to lock the door) Don't lock the door...Maan Singh Khurana is coming too...he is picking something from the car

Mahi (felt herself falling down really hard...someone caught her on time...she looked up and saw her nightmare coming to life...smiling at her)

Suraj: Mahi are you ok...(Maan was confused)

Mahi (gets out of his grip): umm yeah Suraj I am fine....("I have to pretend I don't know him...)

Suraj: Mr. Khurana this is my fiance Mahi Kapoor

Maan (was still confused... "she looks like Geet...can it be her?") umm nice to meet you (he brings out his hand to shake...Geet folds her hands instead and says namaste)

Suraj: Well than let's go over the design...Mr. Khurana has to go to Delhi soon....

Maan: umm I had recieved a call..I don't have to go to Delhi now..the matter has been handled by my employees...we can take our time now with this project...(all this while he looked at Geet...she kept her head down)

Mahi: umm I will bring something to eat or drink...what would you like Mr. Khurana?

Maan (shocked by her behavior...."I know its you Geet...I will make you confess") umm chai would be nice Mahi (stressing the name Mahi)

Mahi: Suraj aap kya legaye? (she puts her hand on top of his...Maan saw that...he ignored it for now...)

Suraj: I will take Chai as well (she nodes her head and goes to the kitchen....)

Mahi (to herself): hey babaji aab main kya karoon....main yaha se bhaag bhi nahi sakti...mujhe Suraj ko aaj hi sab kuch batana hoga...(she takes her time making tea....just when she was about to take it outside she saw Maan standing there)

Precap: Past: Maan please I only love you...
Present: Maan: So tell me about your family Mahi?

I love this story....the contrast of past and present. I'm glad Maan regrets his past mistakes but there's still something lurking in him even now that's a remnant of his past behavior ("I know its you Geet....I will make you confess") Grr....

Happy Holi dear! I live in the US too and the only way to celebrate Holi here is in a temple :-) N'joy!
