Star Plus is set to axe 'Kaali Ek Agnipariksha' after reports emerged that production house Fox TV is set to shop in India over losses.

If sources are to be believed then there were huge creative differences between joint producers Fox and Undercover Productions, which resulted in a fallout between them. The buzz is also that Fox TV has incurred a loss of nearly Rs. 5 crores from 'Kaali'.

The programme based on sexual harassment of women in India, is likely to remain on air until the end of March or early April. It was launched with much fanfare in September last year in a late night slot.

When contacted, Producer Mrinal Jha told TellyBuzz, "Yes, FOX is stepping out, and the process of handing over is taking place as of now".
