Although Salman is back home, his career moves over the next few weeks hang in suspense, considering he is yet to get permission for international shooting and live concerts.
This has resulted in the impending 'Rock Stars' concerts being moved forward. Bunty Wallia, one of the organisers of the show, confirms the postponement. "The shows were supposed to start in Calgary on April 21 and were to go on over the weekends," he says. "Now we're starting the shows in the third week of May and going on into June. As of now, that's the plan. But obviously further decisions depend on Salman. There's no Rock Stars concerts without Salman. He needs to get his travel permit."
Others on the show include Kareena Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat who are known not to see eye-to-eye. "Is that so?" asks Bunty, with a laugh. "I would truly enjoy a live cat-fight during these shows. Seriously speaking, they're too professional to let their personal differences show in their work." Next, Bunty Wallia is trying to convince Abhishek Bachchan to go on a world tour. "I'm trying my best to convince him," he says. "I convinced Abhishek to perform at the Filmfare awards this year. I've convinced him to a do local show with Aishwarya Rai in Bangalore. He's still not sure if he can manage an international audience. I think we'll get there next year."
