Do you guys think Juhi Chawla was underrated as an actress? 😕 and even now, she's never as appreciated/mentioned like Madhuri or Kajol...

There's no hype around her ...and during the 90s, there wasn't even much to work with in terms of scripts yet she still managed to balance btwn different genres. Her comic timing has to got to be the best in my opinion when it comes to female actresses in bw. I loved her in Hum Hai Rahee Pyar Ke, Yes Boss and Jhankar Beats. I also find her really pretty..yet, no one really mentions her anymore and people go gaga over Madhuri like she's the only actress bollywood ever had during the late 80s and then the 90s.

I"ve hardly seen her receiving awards too.

she is soooo underrated! i like her as an actoress. she is good and she is sooo cuute! i loved her chemistry with srk and aamir!

Yeah, she's quite pretty too, yet I don't think bw ever found her pretty? 😆

She carries herself well too.. I always found her more likeable than Madhuri, Kajol or Karishma....theres just something about her entire personality that makes me like her offscreen too.

YES she is underrated.

And personally I find her so much better as an actress than Kajol.

I LOVE Juhi. I miss her so much! <3 I hope she comes back in the limelight. :)

Well, she's past her prime now and we all know how bollywood treats actress once they pass their prime.....but she's just never appreciated really.

Likeable- yes. But she didn't have the sex appeal. I loved her comic roles but bollywood prefers their leading ladies to portray sex bombs with little personality. I think she might have been too out there for chauvinistic male audiences who prefer their women quiet but sexy.

Amen Cutipie Rani, SO much better than Kajol, and not as annoying. Don't get me wrong I like Kajol but I LOVE Juhi.

yes very much. i think her talent was not properly utilized. but it's great she is still working away without much fuss. and yes she is gorgeous. and a person who is always happy and chirpy. i love love juhi :)
