no she's not under rated.she's rated just about perfectly for her abilities.in the 90's she did commercial masala films which higlighted her comic skills.she was hailed as the queen of comedy n she still to date is.so i dunno why people think she's under rated.maybe because she hasn't won many awards.she got lots of praise for work well done.

I LOVE Juhi as an actress, the way she balanced all kinds of roles from the truly trashy to the ethereal. She has probably the BEST comic flair I have seen in any Hindi film actress. And her pair with Aamir was to die for.

Personally, I don't think she is any less than Madhuri or Kajol, but sadly she was never hyped half as much as these actresses.

No, she was rated rightly during her time and got good films. Later when better actors came, she lost her charm and also she didn't really maintain herself well to fit into the Bollywood stereotype of a female commercial actor. She was no Sridevi-Madhuri when it came to acting or dancing and later Kajol-Rani showed more promise. Now she is doing performance oriented films. Good for her. I like her personality.

When Sridevi refused Darr because she felt that the girl had nothing to do in the film, Yash Chopra got really mad and styled Juhi Chawla like Sridevi. Poor Juhi was blamed for aping Sridevi.

She's definitely one of the better actresses of the 90s - much, much better than Madhuri.

She is very underrated, I think she was even better than the likes of Raveena and Urmila. I really enjoyed her films and she was such an amazing actress, it is sad she wasn't given enough recognition

I love Juhi, she emoted really well. When she acted it looked genuine and not fake. Loved her bubbly personality in her comic movies she could definitely put a smile on your face.

I'm not a fan of sad, tragic movies but I loved her movie Sajan Ka Ghar where she played the perfect daughter, sister, wife, and daughter in law. This is one movie that made me cry bucket full of tears second being Kal Ho Na Ho but she was superb in this movie.

She's done really good roles in Punjabi movies now but I so wish she comes and does more in bollywood movies as well. Really miss her.
