Raja Hassan and Kamal both hailing from VS have many similarities in styles.
Raja of course is a great talker and pretty good dancer too. But Kamal is very much younger and has plenty of time to catch up on that.
Success for Kamal has come early in his life and hopefully he is able to launch himself successfully like Mr. Raja Hassan.
Good Luck Kamal Bhai I am sure Raja Bhai will be able to give some useful advice eventhough both may seem to be in competition.
Manish brought up the point at the finals to VS which was not very tactful. He asked Vishal about Raja not being the winner in 2007 although he was at the finals. But now that Kamal has won I guess all is forgiven. Raja too was happy to see VS gharana victorious.

You know, when I was seeing them perform, I saw the similarities too. 😃 I also have a very, very strong feeling that Kamal will go far like Raja as song as maintains his humble, down-to-earth nature, he will succeed.

Kamal is a no nonsense serious singer.
He is pretty young and needs a lot of guidance and advice, fortunately VS should be able to guide him. currently Bollywood has several Punjabi sufi song types and this is where he will shine.

He is born to sing. I hope he does not stop his studies either.
A paper qualification gives him respect too.

Yes sometimes it is very hard indeed and it costs a lot to take part in competitionis too; especially if they are not residing in Mumbai.

Yep money runs out very fast and they need a job, but after paying the rent, transport and food, there is hardly much money left.
