It was the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kick which Shirish Kunder will now direct for film-maker Sajid Nadiadwala.

And Sood, we hear, is hoping that the typical Sallu magic rubs off on his career as well. It seems that the big-hearted Salman has taken Sood under his wings. Source say that after the success of their last release together, Khan was particularly happy with Sonu's performance in a negative role and has apparently decided to work with him in the remakes of the Southern hits Kick and Bodyguard.
A source close to the actor adds, "Salman liked Sonu's performance as Cheddi Singh and feels that they made a good hero-villian jodi."
This is not the first time that Salman is going out of his way to help his co-stars. He has played an important role in shaping the careers of many stars. He has not only proved to be a great launchpad for many newbies but has also revived the careers of many actors who were going through a rough patch.
Earlier Salman has been a saviour of sorts for actor Govinda, then his younger brother Sohail Khan, actor Katrina Kaif and many more. Guess it pays to catch Sallu's attention.
