Hey guys,
Many people I know have read My Sister's Keeper but I don't know much about it. And they haven't told me if they thought if it was good or bad, so I need reviews.
What do you guys think? Is it a worthwhile read?
Share your opinions please 😊
PS I'm Anisha, new to this forum 😃

I'd say go ahead! But remember that even though it's engaging, it's pretty depressing too :/

Thanks :)
What genre would you put it in? Of course it's realistic fiction, which I'm totally into, but what other elements are there?

Its a nice book, one of Jodi Picoult's best work. Like Chhilt said that its very depressing but its worth it.

Thanks :) It seems like a very good book, but the fact that it's depressing makes me a little skeptic, like if I should read it or not.
What specifically did you like about it?
Is there romance/drama/suspense?

^^ Not much romance, if I remember clearly... it's basically about a girl who is dying of leukemia (I think) and her sister is literally being forced to donate organs from her own body to save her sister because she's a perfect match.

omg you have to read this book. It's one of the most amazing books ever. Most of Picoult's books deal with a very sensitive topic but she does lots of research into her work and it shows. Because the quality of her work is so good. I like all her work.

If you are okay reading depressing things... a little girl is dying in the hospital... there is even a little twist in the end
But if you are planning to watch the movie, they change the ending... the book and the movie have two separate endings. 😊
