Thanks everyone! I checked the book out of the library recently, haven't started it yet but am planning on it =) Will let you all know what I think :)
@-mango- so does the movie have a happy ending? Just curious, who's in the movie?

The movie doesn't have a happy ending... neither does the book!
I really believe in having happy endings for any book, or movie, etc... so this just wasn't my type of book. The book needs mature readers. 😆

Well that's a bummer 😆 All in all though, I guess it's a good book in terms of its writing, but the story isn't the happy kind. I love those kinds of stories too, where everything falls into place at the end 😆 *sigh*
Any other recommendations?

I think the book was all right and if you wanna talk along with others, you can read it. But i dun really think you're missing out on much. The book is fine, not the best I've ever read. The ending was the best part, I felt. Otherwise just all right.

I've read the book and seen the movie. The movie is totally different from the novel & personally I found it lacking but the book is definitely a good read if you like Jodi picoult's writing style. Like the other ones, it's serious & tragic but very realistic too. It tells about how one person's terminal illness can affect the whole family.
For me, it's my second favorite among Jodi's books. The first one is 'The Pact'
