So their arguments are

1. Set is unhygenic: Make it hygenic, move to a new one. How can you settle for falling viewership and not do anything to improve the cleanliness condition. leave the baby, what if your actors and directors keep falling ill, do you think they'd want to continue?? This kind of a reason really does not reflect well on the production house. Do something about it, because baby or not this needs to be looked into.

2. lead to a leap. How??

3. Needed for the story. Again how? The entire story is based on the false marriage, dev taking advantage, geet getting pregnant, running for her life, deciding to keep the baby and going against the society. MSK comes later in the picture. The whole drama is about Geet and her courage to go against society dogmas, to challenge the unfair norms and practices. Without the baby, the other side wins because for them baby is the issue. The baby will add a third dimension to the Maneet magic. I cant even delve into the numerous possibilities right now, how their relationship can be tested, how MSK will stand up for the baby against the whole society, he may need to stand up to his beloved dadi ma. there can be custody issues.

4. Will kill maeet romance!! Oh com on... sigh... i can come up with a lot of romantic tracks. theone mentioned by Anj is superb, sameera enttering when Geet is full into her last term. jealousy mood swings...woah such masala

So I want the baby to stay........

I am for keeping the baby. Anjana... you have written a wonderfull post.thanks for it..
In simple words for me the BABY is the usp of the show. Geet (the show) is at this point because of the baby. If the baby dies, it'll be heart breaking for geet and maan. Geet will be sad. Maan will be sad because he wasnt able to save geet and geet's baby from all of this.
More over if baby dies, Naintara wins. Its unfair! She shouldnt win this battle.
If people think that baby will effect Maaneet's romance then think of it this way. How will the romance happen when both Maan and Geet will be filled with guilt and sorrow inside.
I dont know how much difference will my post make. But if this could be the chance of saving the Baby, I'm all for it.

the debate will never end...i hv just one thing to say....it is true that the baby will create probs later on with dev feeling the fatherly urge to shower love on the child...and the way dev is on the path of repentance....it will be very hard for maan to deny him the pleasure of fatherhood....
but life is full of complications...noone said life will be easy...and in fear of accident we dont stop going out of our home, do we? then y in fear of some unknown future complications kill the baby now....even if problems arise maan and geet will be mature enuf to handle them....
also, the maneet love story has been presented in a way where the baby held a lot of meaning....maan taking geet to the hospital on the very day of his engagement, maan eating 2 platefuls of papaya, maan scolding her every now and then for overstressing herself....all these will go in vain....
today the miscarriage will not only break geet but even maan will be emotionally devastated...already he blames himself for wat dev did to geet....something for which he is not at all responsible....and now if the baby gets killed then he will never be able to forgive himself because he had promised geet that he will be always with her...
once maan goes into self reprimand state...he will want to take himself away from geet's life....this is just wat was happening before geet convinced him that she and her baby need him...
but this time no amount of speeches from geet will heal the emotional anguish of maan and he will never be able to trust himself to take care of geet....
so....those who r wanting miscarriage for smooth flow of maneet romance...i want to say that the opposite will happen....with the miscarriage there will be the death of maneet love story too....
so...i just have one thing to say...
I WANT THE BABY TO LIVE

First of all nice post!

Second of all...I am against this new track that CVS are planning on doing. WHY miscarriage???? What difference will there be from this show and from any other show that we see on television. Geet should be allowed to keep the baby, she fought for that baby since the beginning of the show. She went against all odds to give birth to this baby. It is time that she gets some happiness in her life.

I am happy that Maan will marry Geet but if there marriage is going to happen at the expense of her child. Than NO THANK YOU!!! I rather see Geet giving birth to the baby then see Maan and Geet marriage. I am also a big fan of Maan and Geet and I do want to see both of them happy but I feel that this baby will bring both Maan and Geet more closer.

Because of this baby, Maan understood his responsibilities and he accepted Geet. Why take that reason away from him?? I know that he loves Geet and will support Geet no matter what but we have to think from different point of view. This baby (at least I feel that way) was the foundation of their relationship in the first place.

Maan and Geet can't have some romantic moments if she has the baby??? Where is that written??? I believe that they will get more stronger together as a couple and will understand each others weaknesses and will complete each other!

I think that some of you guys are being selfish (this only applies to the people that want the miscarriage to happen) why sacrifice a poor innocent soul in order to get more "Maaneet moments"?

Ok I think I said enough!!😆😆

Hey guys!

I am so upset about the Miscarriage track mentioned by SBS team. I don't want this to turn in to a typical Ekta serial where the heroin looses their baby, just for the sake of romance & trp'

What CVs are trying to justify by doing this? As one of my friend said, If Cvs take that route then I will be very disappointed in them. This will only reinstate the fact that TRPs is all that matters to them. The story n the message behind it holds no Importance to them.

For me, if that happens, I would conclude that they failed to think out of the box n became like one of the millions out there who r churning out the same ghissa pita masala soaps that leaves us with a bad taste in our mouth. They should understand the pulse of the audience, understand their intellect. Today's viewers are an educated intelligent open minded demographic n doesn't like to see fluff all the time. They can think for themselves n know what they like or dislike. I know it would be taking a huge risk for them businesswise but then what's life without risk? How can they prove themselves that they are a class apart above the rest if they don't show sum himmat n go against the wind. So I would really like CVs to show sum balls of steel n NOT take the easy way out. They should set the precedent in the world of television to handle such mature issues like unwed moms n crimes n atrocities done against women.

And also there can be so much to show in the pregnancy track. Just imagine Geet's last week of pregnancy...Maan's Panicky nature & concern for Geet while her water breaks & Maan rushing her to hospital holding Geet & Saying her "everything's gonna be fine Geet" & caressing her Hands, face & asking her to breath in & out & trying to make geet stay calm, while himself being a bit panicky, would be a lovely scene to watch.

Also Maan reading baby books so that he does everything what a Good father & husband needs to do...Geet looking at Maan with lots of love & thinking to herself how lucky she is to get Maan as her life partner & forgiving god for the dirty past he gave her in the form of DEV-NT...These scenes would be classic scenes to watch...
