There are pros and cons to have the baby!

- First the baby being the crux of the story, the struggle of Geet! Though how much will it motivate other girls I'm not so sure. So far we have seen if you get a rich guy who is crazy about the girl, things are hunky dory, so setting an example and all the blah I don't know how much weight it carries.

- We can have cute scenes as you guys mentioned, Maan taking care of his preggy wife and later on the kiddo! Well we could have that later on with maan's sperms too.. not Dev-donated sperms!! I like this term! It sort of alienates Dev from fatherhood, but is it that simple?

- In reality, the moment the baby is born the problem would start. From Dev's angle, he will have this fatherly surge at some point of time or the other.

- As the kid grows, he/she will exhibit some mannerism, some habit of the chromosomes associated with sperm! Maan being the brother of the father would know those habits instantly. What would that do to him?

- Whenever the baby/kid does some mischief, and if Maan scolds the kid, how will Geet react?

- When their own child will be born, how the siblings will behave, and if Maan takes side of his own kid, he may be labelled as partial, and if dev is still there, he will definitely shower more love to his kid. Geet will be in dilemma!

-Anyways in reality the problems are endless! But since this is a serial, we just want the baby, as we do not want NT to win! We are bothered that Geet will not be in good mood to reciprocate romantic feelings of Maan! The unborn baby has become some sort of crusader whom everybody wants to save!!

-Wish we could have given a free hand to the CVs!

I absolutely love the idea that there is a baby on the way...that same baby helped strengthen Maneet's relationship and i dont think cv's should write in a miscarriage track....😔please, please please cv's listen to your viewers, dont let geet MC...

Anj I hv gone with the third option...I want the baby to stay👍🏼 ..not because I m emotionally attached to it or I feel baby is the whole and soul of the show...but I hv my very own practical reasons why I want the baby in the long run😛

Baby track itself gives birth to the following future tracks in the show which can b interesting from story POV😎

Once baby comes out..Dev as father can turn grey and fight against MSK for the custody of the baby because baby becomes company ka waaris...it will b interesting to see Dev vs MSK clash😈
Who doesn't want to see the protective fatherly side of MSK now😳..
There can b lot of complications shown in the future related to Maan-Geet and Dev-NT with baby in the picture..all under same family😛..
If in the future Maan-Dev adopted son issue comes out and MSK turns out to b the adopted son,then baby being the waaris of the family can hv another interesting storyline😎..we can hv our Mahabharat theory in this case😉...

In short Baby gives rise to many interesting storylines which defines logic...show cannot just run on Maan-Geet Romance for 2-3yrs..u need a solid foundation for the future of this show and baby can provide this foundation without making the storyline take illogical routes for continuation😊

CVs and channel are divided in this case(just my guess)..some might feel if the baby goes out of the picture ,that past connection of Geet and Dev which only gave her pain will b broken forever and then Geet will never hv any sort of hurdles in her life which will make her future problematic...On the other hand some might feel that if baby remains in the picture,then these complications in the story itself will take the story forward with interesting twist and turns along with the romance of course😛...

So in this case both the parties hv valid as well as invalid points if we consider external elements like safety of the real baby on the sets or an actor's reservation regarding playing a mother or father's role too soon and that too for a star one show😊

So from a viewers POV..we need to think practically here taking into account all the pros and cons that CVs will b going through before taking the final call😊

As a viewer,I will suggest the CVs not to go for miscarriage..try to clean your sets..convince the actors if they hv any problem and go for the baby track sinse it opens many gates for interesting storylines😊

Great post Anj!

Am deffo for the baby! Have always been. There's alot that can be done n explored with this baby track. They shoudn't take the cliched route of making Geet go through a miscarriage, because that is what we get off in every other show. For once they should bring it up a notch higher in the creativity department n do something DIFFERENT. No harm trying new things out, you'll never know until u try it. If not u'll only be left thinking "what if i had."

So i rather they take the chance and keep the baby. Build up on more storylines featuring the baby because there's really ALOT that can be done.

So YES, the unborn child should stay. We can only state our suggestions n views about this issue. Now it's up to the CVs to make the RIGHT decision, we hope. If it's being done otherwise, there's nothing much we can do because at the end of the day, it's their show, they make the final call. But i am hoping that they do keep the unborn child coz, like what many has been saying, with the unborn child being killed, it kills the essence of the show altogether.

Oh yes, just wanna say, the worst excuse that they can come up with would be the sets being unhygenic. If they have so much money to pay their actors, am sure they have more than enough money to spend on keeping the sets clean.

e always stood as a defence for the entire team for every little mistake & i love Geet hsp... i wanted it to be the MASTErpiece in indian tv....

but this new track is simply pathetic? if they air it it'll be like another silly love story.. All the social issues this serial could have adressed will go down drain...

if the baby is killed wat proof does geet have to prove the injustice done to her ?

remember her dialogue ? wen she told her mom aap ki mamta mamta aour meri ? tat was the best dialogue any one could have spoken..

by killing the baby the'll finish the essence of the stoRYline.. tell m e y ppl liked HP scenes compared to delhi ?? was it jus aNGRY maan? no it was geet;'s justification & her fight & crusade for the kid...

tat got the limelight that touched the souls of viewers.... but fan DEmanding nothing maaneet we r actiong posseesive & absurd.... showing how geet fights off justice & parenthood & facing boldly all the prob regarding the baby will open eyes to many.....

am Sorry if ve been harsh but i could not sense any other way to substatntiate my point....

In the beginning I was all for miscarriage..that to say around1-2 months back but then whenever this topic arose,I got to read a lot of opinions and it made me change my mind,..now I want the baby to be there!..I can still digest miscarriage due to other complications which Geet might face being just 18 but I seriously dont want NT's evil plans to succeed!...
