Maan looked around at all the shock guest not caring what they thought

Maan: (yelling) who ever has a problem with Geet being my wife can bring it up with me...now no one should have a problem with her doing the kanyadaan because now she is Maan Singh Khurana's wife

He said looking at everyone around disgusted with the way they were talking about Geet..Geet still stood there frozen....stunned at what happened... Dev, NT, Adi, and Pinky stood there happy with Maan had done...Dev and NT noticed people whispering and walked over to Maan and Geet...Dev stood near Maan putting his hand on his shoulder

Dev: what bro said is absolutely true..no one can now say anything to bhabi

Maan turned back at Dev and gave him a smile...NT held Geet's hand and walked her over to Maan and took his hand as well

NT: so if Adi and Pinky don't mind I think we should officially get these two married

She said walking them both to the mandap

Geet was still shocked she didn't know what has happening her eyes where fixated on Maan as they walked up to the maandap...NT took Geet's pallu and put it on her head...they sat Maan and Geet next to each other and followed through with their kanyadaan...as the pundit chanted the mantras Maan, Geet, Adi, and Pinky got up and took their 7 holy phere around the fire...both Maan and Adi put sindoor on the beautiful women sitting next to them...as Adi placed his mangalsutra on Pinky...Maan took off his Om tabeez and placed it on Geet

Maan: woh Geet (he said silently) I don't have a mangalsutra for you but this will do until I get you one tomorrow

He said as Geet still looked at him shocked not knowing what to say.

After the marriage both couples got up...Dev and NT gave Adi and Pinky a hug

Dev: (whispering) congrats on the marriage and for our plan for bro and Geet

All four gave each other high fives and where super proud of themselves and walked over to Maan and Geet

Dev: congrats bro congrats babhi, I'm very happy for you two

She said as she gave them both a hug

Adi and Pinky came over and held Geet's hand

Adi: Geet congrats

Pinky: haan Geet I was so worried that after my marriage you would get lonely by yourself but now that you too are married I won't have to worry about you

She said giving Geet a huge hug, noticing she was quiet...Pinky knew that the only thing Geet must be thinking about was Ranbir at the moment...Maan too noticed how Geet was quiet but didn't regret what he did he knew he did the right thing by protecting her honor

Khurana Mansion

NT and Dev stood at the entrance of the house with Maan and Geet in front of them...since Dadi was away NT did Geet's welcoming to the Khurana house....Her house now...NT took Geet around the house showing her all the rooms and her new home for the 1^st time....Geet was blown away from the beauty and felt like she knew this house her whole life...they stopped once they got in front of Maan's room

NT: and finally here is veerji's...I mean your room now

She said as she gave Geet a hug and noticed that she had been quiet since Maan put sindoor on her Maan

NT: Geet (she said softly) I know you are shocked right now but trust me Maan did the right thing...I know he gets angry and mad fast but he has a good heart he will keep you happy

She said as she made her way inside the room and sat Geet on the bed and left before giving her a wink.

Geet got up and walked towards the window looking at the Moon shinning at her

Geet: babaji what is happening in my life...why do you always put me through such tests

Flashback

Ranbir entered the room and saw his wife sitting on the bed waiting for him...he loved thinking of Geet as his wife she was his forever...he walked towards the bed keeping his eyes on Geet....Geet could see him walking towards her and her heart started to beat faster

Ranbir: Jaanu

He said as he sat beside her and lifted her ghunghat

Ranbir: haaye can anyone be as beautiful as you

He said giving Geet a passionate kiss....Geet could feel her heart mealting and face burning up...she pulled away and looked down shy

Ranbir: Geet yeh mere vada hai

He said talking her hands into his

Ranbir: mai tumhare saath hamesha hain.... zindagi bhar... koi mujhe tumse nahin nahin sakta

He said staring into Geet's eyes...as a tear traced down Geet's delicate face....Ranbir wipped it away and gave Geet another kiss and closed the lights....

Present

She said as she softly started crying....she couldn't bear the pain anymore and made herself stop thinking about her memories....as she was still looking outside...not aware that Maan had walked into the room and was standing behind her

Maan: Geet (he said gently) Geet

He said again with no response he thought to himself that what he did was the right thing and he wouldn't take anything back....people where judging her and he couldn't bear it....but why? Why was it when she was in pain his heart was jumping to save her why? He thought and shook the thought out of his head...

Maan: Geet

He called still no response from Geet...he placed his hand on her shoulder and called her name again...as Geet felt Maan's touch and heard her name it sent chills down her spine she turned toward Maan wiping her tears away

Geet: Maan (she said softly) why did you marry me

She asked him

Maan: I don't know Geet...I don't know I could bear hearing those women judge and talk ill about you...it was the right thing to do...but don't worry nothing has changed between us you are still going to be working as my secretary

He said as he walked to his dresser and took out his track pants and a white t-shirt and went to change for bed...a hint of a smile formed on Geet's faced as she turned back around and looked outside again.....she was glad nothing had changed between them

Once Maan made his way out of the washroom he looked over at Geet and realized that she didn't have anything to wear other than her sari...he walked over to his dresser and took out track pants and a t-shirt for her and walked over to her

Maan: Geet....here, you can change into this for tonight you won't be comfortable in that sari

As Geet was about to walk to the washroom he hesitantly stopped her

Maan: um Geet woh...um...(he said as he walked to her) this was my mother's she gave it to me before she died and told me to give it to my wife when I got married...I never thought that I would ever be married but since I am now this belongs to you more than it does to me

He said as he reached into his pocket and gave Geet his mother's mangalsutra

Maan: if you don't like it I can but you a new one tomorrow

Geet was touched at Maan's gesture and took the mangalsutra from him

Geet: no it's fine it's a beautiful mangalsutra

She said as she tried putting it on but struggled....Maan took it from her and turned her around and put it on her...Geet looked in the mirror and looked at both of them with a smile on her face.... and headed to the washroom with his clothes...Geet couldn't help but smile at the gesture he made

Geet: (shyly) thank you Maan

She said as she went to the washroom to go change

Maan walked over to the huge bed in their bedroom and took one pillow and a blanket and made his way to the sofa to sleep...he noticed the washroom door open slowly...their stood Geet looking stunning in his baggy clothes....he couldn't take his eyes off of her.....she could feel his eyes on her as her skin started to burn up

Maan: (clearing his throat) woh um Geet you can sleep on the bed this couch converts into a futon so I'll just stay here...I have to finish some office work

He said as he watched Geet give him a nod and headed to bed.

It was 2 am and Maan had finished completely his office work he was packing his files when he heard a faint cry...he looked over at Geet and knew it was her crying...he didn't know what to do

Maan: Geet are you ok?

He asked worried

Geet: haan woh...(she said hesitantly) it's nothing just had a nightmare

Maan: are you sure

He asked

Geet: haan it's nothing goodnight

She said as she adjusted her covers

Maan knew it wasn't a nightmare....he knew she was thinking about Ranbir but didn't know how to help her

He thought to himself

Maan: Geet I promise you that I will make you happy and not bring a single tear to your eyes

He said, and with a smile drifted off to bed.
