Taashu better than ShaNak?

Friends,
We have all enjoyed the nok-jhok scenes of ShaNak very much this week and I sincerely thank the CVs for that. But I have been feeling disturbed by one thing and would like you all to share your views. That is about Natasha's conduct in this whole marriage thing, compared to out ShaNak.

Shaan- didn't want to marry Natasha. Knew he loved Khanak. Is already married to Khanak. Had many opportunities to find out how Khanak felt about him (including physical proximity). Still agreed to marry Natasha for two reasons- did not want to hurt her again, and out of respect for Mr.A. He did not think it necessary to even ask Khanak for forgiveness. Nor did he make any attempt to talk to Natasha.

Khanak- is married to Shaan. Loves Shaan. Had ample opportunity to figure out he also feels the same way about her, and even told Shaan's mom that he doesnt love Natasha but her. Knew Shaan wrote the letter to her. Knew Mr.A was a bad guy. Considers Natasha her friend. Natasha has done nothing to hurt Khanak. Still, Khanak did not make any effort to do her bit as Natasha's friend- either by telling Natasha that she was going to marry a man who did not love her. Did not tell Shaan she loved him. Simply left the house even when knowing that both Shaan and Natasha will be unhappy.

Natasha- loves Shaan. Thought Shaan loved her too, after the (faulty) engagement. But always had doubts about his changed feelings for Khanak. Once she was sure of Khanak and Shaan's feelings, stopped the wedding and made Shaan go after Khanak.

Now you tell me, who is the better person? I think it is Natasha.

natasha is good.but shanak r helpless.shaan is allways confused n in khanak words budthal.n khanak she had seen so much at such young age so she must b scared abt circumstances n smewat feard 2 face dem n she def dnt want 2 take d initial steps n she must b really in a confused state.even shaan had cn so many things 4m dhulwadi time 2 which hez not at all used facing challenges.so der behaviour is somewat justified 2wards dis situation altough not completely.n shaan said in dat epi main tumhare pass ake baat krna chata ta par bata nahin ata bi to kya kahta n natasha shaan stoppd thinking abt her long back...

hey gaayu............lovely topic.........i am glad you came up with this issue.

No doubt i agree that Natasha is a very good person and if it was not for her we would have never seen shanak together and happy.

As for khanak, i think she was justified. Any girl in her position would have done the same.She knows that natasha was in shaan's life before her and is also guilty about it as she feels that she was the one who came between shaan-natasha relationship, otherwise they would have married. she knows that amidst all this confusion, natasha is nowhere at fault. though she knows that shaan loves her and the proposal was meant for her but now that shaan is engaged to natasha and evrybody knows it, she doesn't want to be a reason of a major fallout. though she says shaan will not be happy with natasha now, she also feels that shaan and natasha were a couple previously and hopes for them to be happy forever, so she leaves the house.....she could have waited if shaan took a step.

As for shaan, i think he was very irresponsible........he created the whole confusion. In the first place, he got married to khanak to save his own life.......he ill treated her initially......later when she left the house, he brought her back , for business..........till now he was selfish................ In the process, when he fell in love with her, he completely forgot natasha who he was so much in love with. Even after the engagement disaster, he was not clear whether he should pursue/chase khanak to win her love or go back to natasha. Finally, in the Pune hotel, he realises that both of them love each other, but again after coming back he doesn't bother to talk to natasha or explain khanak why he is taking such a step.

the only point that keeps hitting me is that what was shaan thinking? i know the marriage would not have happened........but agreeing for it itself means shaan was ready from his side. After using Khanak to save his life, business, etc.etc. and then even after falling for her, did he actually want to dump her back to dhulwadi???.....................it is just not done..............
According to me he should have supported khanak and stayed with her even if he didn't love her.........mainly on humanitarian and moral grounds...............did he actually planned a third marriage for her or expected her to live alone in dhulwadi...........?????????

Love can do weird things Gaayu.Yes, but looking at the bigger picture i have to agree that Tashu is more matured than Shank put together.That is why Shanak are perfect for eachother and compliment eachother very very well.😆

I am so happy that Tashu did not turn out you know evil coz that would have been like oh yeah that is expected from an indian soap.But i think that her moving out gracefully has made her a bigger person coz she imediately sensed that they loved eachother the moment she stepped into that house and even b4 that.

Unfortunately Shan and Khanak are not matured still.U can see it for yourself in the way they are handling the I LUV YOU thing.😆

But what to do i love Shanak despite all this.

Of course Natasha is better....She understood everything well, respect other's feelings and most important she knew that she better find someone who really loves her rather than going after someone whom she loves.

@ Sehju.........we all love shanak, otherwise why would we take so much pain to discuss their life in so much detail........???

the point is that the character build up is the job of the CVs.........they have shown Natasha as the best.................Khanak as too good................but why the hell did they project Shaan as immature and childish ??

i don't think Khanak is immature, she is much mature than her age, she is very responsible, but she is chirpy and behaves like this only with Shaan.............

Shaan on the other hand is still a brat.......i would have loved if he was shown a little more like a HERO...........someone reliable, responsible, sincere and with loads of gravity. He sits down sulking and expects others to take steps/decisions for him and 'budthal' follows the advices also.................then whoever it is........khanak or taashu or his mom, dad, dadi whoever has an opinion has an ear in shaan................can't he just stand up for himself ??

PS -- i love khanak and yashashri both but i love shaan the character only because he is played by KT the actor, and he does convince us for all the stupidity of the character. if it was any other actor , i would have felt like slapping him...........

Hehehe right Manita but Shan is staying true to his character right.I mean he was always like this.Yes he has changed to some extent now but people just cant completely change over night?,that would be like way too radical dont you think?.The traits that he had in him before are still alive,it is just that they have been finetuned now since he has fallen in love.And whle Khanak is more grounded,there is still alot of immaturity in her.Atleast thats what i think.And i am not only talking from her mannerisms in this love game they are playing,but also this whole shaadi fiasco and engagement fiasco she could have handled it better,but unfortunately she didn't and that is why Tashu had to step in and become a saviour and that is why Tashu is being praised today for reuniting them.

I agree with your views. Shaan is the weakest link here.

Have the CVs weakened Shaan's characeter? We can still love the character but we have to recognise that our hero is weak, with lots of faults, not the perfect man.Like Manita says, if Shaan didn't have KT's charm, he would have had it from me! This man is so hopeless I would not want to spend my life with him, at least till I send him for rehabilitation in a correction center😆

Or, are the CVs deliberately showing Shaan as so immature? I mean, he was silly, and then became all mature and even promised Khanak he wll get the haveli back with his own money, and then is back to being immature again. Is RBO the story of Khanak-Taashu, and not Khanak-Shaan?

Frankly, I find Khanak's character also becoming extremely silly... if not for Yashu and Karan, I would feel like shaking the two of them...
