Jaya , That was a generic statement and guilt was meant for Shaan ..I think in a rush I ate up few sentences😆 ... Its good if you divert coz it makes me think 😆 ...coz if all of us have same perspective phir how can we have such long discussions ...

@Khanak -She knows Shaan loves her but also knows she is misfit in their world....Shaan's mom and sister in law dont want her there but the one whose opinion matters is Shaan right ..Khanak was ready to go without saying him she loves him?? I mean see from her POV.. What going in Shaan's mind ? Shaan one moment wants her next is ready to let her go ?.I think she left to let Shaan to take his decision by himself without her help....if he really loves her and not Tashu he would not go ahead with the wedding .....you saw in the coming episodes she took the first step of going to bedroom coz now she is more secured that Shaan loves her...maybe being from village at heart she is just uncomfortable with the such openly saying I love you...

@Shaan - You have a guy who is not perfect but is a very loving and caring person .He always ends up hurting people around him with his actions and is badly trying to avoid such situations (he had said it to khanak in teh scene after saying ' ILU Khanak' to Tashu ....)

For him until he fell in love with Khanak ,Tashu was be all and end all of Shaan's life and he wanted to marry her...You know in Shaan -Tashu's scene later when Tashu said school mein bhi mein better thi ....I realized these two knew each other since childhood ??? Hence confused fondness and being used to a person as love ......After such a long relation breaking the bond with tashu to whom Shaan meant the world , leaving her alone would have been tough for him...Shaan himself had once said to Khanak he knows how people wud make life difficult for her once both of them are separated. So I dont think he would have gone all the way to marry Tashu ,once he knew Khanak had left he would have left evrything and run after her....Whats CVs missed was showing Shaan's detremination to stop Khanak leaving ...they could have shown dadi informing Shaan Khanak has left ,his immediate reaction of going after her...then Tashu's entry in pathshala and dadi leaving them alone to talk....then Tashus and his scenes as shown...

As I had said tashu was best placed to take a descision so it doesnot make her better or Shanak any less ...

Very good point there... I am also 100% sure Shaan would not have gone ahead with the marriage and would have gone behind Khanak to bring her back. But in the meantime, what was going on in his mind, we do not know... may be the Khichdi team's visit ate up those scenes?

U r also right in mentioning the scene where Shaan says that no one will trouble him but people wil bother Khanak because she is a woman and he wants to prevent that. So he does understand... just doesn't know how to say it properly. The CVs also waste time in showing so much nok-jhok and not much heart-to-heart talk.

But I think a real big heart-to-heart talk will not come now, but in 2 months' time when those divorce papers appear, along with Taashu.
