Taashu better than ShaNak? - Page 3

Of course, i adore adore ADORE Shaan-Khanak together, no questions asked, but realistically speaking...they're the budthals here...

the CVs made natasha exit in the most positive manner..which in exchange made shan and khanak both look like fools..

i wanted them to do something for themselves..but they were shown as losers there...

so much that they didnt even understand the seriousness of it later...fights, jokes, nok jhok is ok, but there shud have been some serious talk before that..

i wonder if they even realised they were at the end of their relationship in case taashu wouldnt have acted..

better or not i cant say but she definitely did act smarter than the burthals...

I'm proud to say that I'm a Shanak fan and love to watch their nok-jhok in RBO .....but still I can point out their good things as well as the things they are not good at it....

I know that most of you would feel I sound harsh here, but no offence to any one.....I'm simply stating my POV here😊

I am so with you Gaayu, on the premise.....indubitably, Taasha did the right thing, the mature thing, as opposed to Shanak who were on another planet when they decided to do what they did. But methinks, Taasha was prompted by something other than simply altruism.....I think on-off nature of Shaan's affections have really turned her off.....I mean the engagement thing was so out of the blue...before that he had been showing all the signs of falling for Khanak....had even blurted out "I love you, Khanak" in the midst of consoling her (Taasha) and then all of a sudden he supposedly proposes to her and therefter he takes off to Pune with Khanak in tow, for a week's worth of honeymoon like conditions😆 (I know that was Sunil-Akshay's doing, but Taasha doesn't know that) and then he returns to marry her!!!! So, I think to Taasha, this whole marriage thing did ring hollow.....plus, from what I can make out of their initial relationship, Taasha may have been in love with Shaan, in no small part, because he depended on her. He was the quientessial rich brat who was helpless, in the office at least, without Taasha. She was the mature one, the competent one, who did his projects for him. Once he grew a spine (however fleeting😆) and managed on his own, as evidenced by the new textile project, she felt a bit, superfluous. She no longer had the upper hand in the relationship (I know this makes it sound like that she was a control freak, but that is not what I mean here) This may have played a part in her decision.

Or, if we want to be really hard-nosed cynics, it was just the fact that in real life she is getting married soon and will not be available for shooting for some time😉

Agree with all who said that Shaan was the "weakest link" here.....this entire mess was of his creation.....as for Khanak, yes she could have stayed and fought, but I can empathise with her and her insecurities some....she is from a small village, a relatively poor family as compared to the Khandelwals, has less of the urban polish (however misleading) than them, so for her to feel that Shaan and Taasha jodi is more suitable than hers and Shaan's, is understandable to a certain extent. But all these factors did not stop her from holding her own all these months, so why now?

@Hira: really see your point about the third marriage😡 and the fact that they did not have a serious discussion after they returned from the Pune trip.
