AP 27 Sep - 1 Oct

I don't believe this - I just finished writing the update and now it has gone! I cannot rewrite it now, so I will do it later. Now where did it go? How did it go? why did it go? will it come back? who knows?

Update for Friday, Oct 1, 2010:

Kamesh and his friend in a park, friend congratulates Kamesh on successfully preventing the engagement from taking place. Kamesh refuses to take credit, says the sambandhi said there was a problem with the boy's jadagam, friend points out that it was too late for a jadagam problem, so there must be some other reason behind this. Kamesh is worried that if his role in stopping the first alliance comes out, then he will be suspected of having been behind this one too, and his days of enjoying his sister's hospitality will be over (appuram velaikku poga vendi varum! and no rights to the family sotthu, either!). Friend tells him to use his head and find out who else could have an axe to grind with his sister's family, and what this person could be knowing. Kamesh is thoughtful.

Pallu consoling Anu on the phone, telling her that something good may come out of this, maybe Nivedha may get a better alliance, or maybe this marriage would not have been a good one, but Anu is unable to find anything positive about this issue. Finally, Pallu suggests that they check the jadagam, Anu tells her that Athai has already taken Nivedha's jadagam and was told that there would be some problems, so there is no point, but Pallu says to take the whole family's jadagams and see if there is a problem somewhere, so that parigaarams can be done. She says she also needs to get Karthik's jadagam compared with some horoscopes of prospective alliances, so they agree to meet at the josiyar's place the following day.

Pallu's mother comes in, and Pallu updates her on the program. RR joins the conference (back already from Tuticorin?) and he is concerned about this meeting between A and P, but P says they are meeting at the josiyar's place. P's father comes in and senses future problems, so he tells P that Anu may not believe in all this, but she says the program has already been fixed. Besides, she also has business with the josiyar, getting Karthik's horoscope matched with that of some prospective alliances. RR, P's mom and dad are all concerned.

Anu and Pallu at the josiyar's place - josiyar says that there are problems because Nivedha's marriage time hasn't yet come, but she will eventually marry the guy she wants to marry. Anu wants to know if there are parigaarams, but he says there are none, because the time isn't right. Pallu hands over Karthik's jadagam, he says that it will take some time, and Anu need not wait, Anu says she will wait, but Pallu tells her to go ahead, so she leaves. Then the josiyar tells Pallu that Anu's husband is double dealing, that is the whole problem, Pallu doesn't understand, so he spells it out - the man has a second wife and a second family, and Anu is unaware of it. Pallu is shocked ...

Purattasi Thursday

Starts with SM (Shouting Mohan) screaming at his family for the strike, saying he doesnt want RR as his sammandhi. Wife tries to reason with him to not listen to Gopi, but SM sides with Gopi saying he is a nice chap. SM says he should have told RR the real reason (we all would have liked that) then, but since he didnt, now its too late to explore other options. Shouts (again) and leaves. A sad Aadhi mopes around in his room. His sister tries to cheer him up that something will be resolved. She suggests Aadhi to seek advise from Sreenidhi (OOrukke therinjudum). Aadhi agrees to talk to her.

RR sitting at his desk (Not working as usual), thinking about Nivedha's plight. Sundu enters (not working as usual too), and RR confides in him that Nivedha doesnt want to get married anymore. Sundu and RR agree that they have to know the real reason for SM stopping the marriage (manga idiots). Then RR gets it (yay) that SM may have known about his double life- of course Sundu disagrees and thinks its unlikely SM knows about this secret (as if its so hard to find out) Sundu agrees to talk to SM to find out the real reason, not minding getting his nose cut by SM for RR's sake. 🤢

Nivedha visits Sreenidhi. Her parents make small talk with her, saying RR is such a pakka gentleman so its hard to imagine why SM stopped the wedding. They offer to find out the reason from SM on why he made that decision. Enter- Sreenath, asking the same thing to Nivedha. His parents tell Sreenath that there is a horoscope problem and they all dont buy it. His father feels there is another reason behind it, and says RR should demand to know why. He says RR should catch SM by the collar and ask him why he cancelled the engagement. Srinath feels there might be a secret in RR's family which SM found out, which even Nivedha doesnt know. Therefore SM may have hidden the truth in order to not hurt Nivedha. (Dont these people have any sensitivity at all?? How can they hurt the poor girl like this in front of her? Dont they understand she has feelings?) Nivedha leaves and mother scolds hubby and son for being such insensitive idiots.👏
