The present track will surely raise the TRPs but we have to agree that is an embarassing issue and young teen agers who watch this show may be mislead. Are such type of shows necessary in the already demoralised Indian society?? Who will answer their unanswered questions?

I think instead of looking at this as a taboo, we should welcome this show for what it is - a platform to present a difficult situation. And from this platform, youngsters should be encouraged to take away a positive lesson of self affirmation and mutual respect - instead of asking the teenagers to turn a blind eye to the controversial topic, I think it should be used to educate them early on. An educated and aware mind is less likely to make mistakes - after all ignorance behests ignorance. Personally, I hope that people appreciate the opportunity they have here and should their teenagers be watching this show, they should use it as an example of what NOT to do and how bad parenting can instill fear and low self esteem in kids.

I honestly think that the parents and society has to own up and answer their kids' questions. Controversial as they may be, it's when the kids don't get answers at home that they venture out to find them else where and this leaves them vulnerable to the first slick talking jerk who can brain wash them.. 😳

i think that this is a show we can learn from! it is very interesting....i think it is better if we take such situations and learn from this...because what they show is outcomes of certain situations...which is something we can learn from!

What will one learn here? Impotent husband okaying his wife to have an ilegitimate relationship with one of his poor relatives?
Educating children is diferent from poluting an adoloscent's mind.
That too, there are many delicate ways to educate the children.

I guess, it's a difference of opinion here - but I've never seen anyone get more influenced by television shows than they have been by peer pressure. The CVs haven't shown the soliciting of an impotent husband's wife as an "acceptable" act. They've shows it as a controversial and absolutely unethical act - and THAT is what kids can learn from it should they choose to watch this show to begin with. The CVs aren't saying it's okay to solicit your wife, but rather it's not okay to do so even if you have certain "obligations" to those asking you to do something wrong (Like in Neeraj's case with the Jagirdars).

And I agree, there are definitely more delicate ways to educate children, which is why kids should be kept free from mature content on television shows as it is. The television world has a wide range of audience and honestly this show is targeted towards the older generation. If kids are watching this show, then it's really the parents/guardians responsibility to make sure they don't. I don't think the CVs intended this to be a "kids show" so I don't know if we can blame them for it not being one.. 😳

The show airs @ 10:00pm, so it's definitely not a kids show.
