August 11, 2010 Written Update
RP tries burning the pictures, but Chachi reminds him that she has negatives and he is only holding copies. He asks her what he can do for her, and she tells him that she doesn't want Jyoti to enter this house. Sumer enters, and Chachi leaves. RP tells Sumer that Jyoti must die before she can reach the haveli. Sumer guarantees him, but RP mocks Sumer for repeating this line since the last two weeks. There, Jyoti bids a tearful farewell to everyone. She looks to KK's photo and remembers him. Before leaving, Padma hugs Jyoti and tells her to always remember what KK said... and now whenever she comes home, it should always be as a bahu and not as a beti. Jyoti and Kabir leave.
The Sharmas all go back home and sit down, recollecting times with Jyoti. Poonam brings up the topic of the paper bags and asks if they can be thrown away now since Jyoti is gone, and Rashmi will soon be following after. Everyone disagrees and Padma explains that Jyoti has started this work and they will continue it. Dadi also adds that maybe later they can add a few workers too. Poonam is disappointed.
Kabir and Jyoti are in the car together. Kabir reaches for Jyoti's hand. Raghu watches all this from the rearview mirror. Suddenly, they are overtaken by another car. All of them get out and Raghu explains that he called this car for him, so that they both can spend some time alone before reaching the haveli. Kabir thanks Raghu. Raghu and the driver both leave in the other car. Raghu calls up RP and tells him that everything is according to plan and Kabir-Jyoti are in the car alone now. End.
