It was just another bright, sunny day in Mumbai, full of hustle and haste for all. But for someone, it was a very special day, the beginning of a new journey. And that someone was sure this journey will be the most exciting one of her life.
Gunjan was awake since 5AM today. She was going to join her new collage, Excel college today. It was one of the best colleges in Mumbai, and she had heard a lot about it. Well , mainly from Jatin uncle, because he had a very good rapport with the management of the college. In that case she needn't worry about her admission.
And Samrat also studies there' as his thought appeared in her mind, she felt a little uncomfortable. Her brain scanned through all the events since she entered Mumbai.
She liked her new guardians in the very first meeting. But about samrat, she was not sure. It was really difficult to understand how he was. At first , she thought he was a kind of guy who just bump on a girl intentionally and try all pickup lines with a pinch of apology. Then came another Samrat in front of her, a prankster. And last night, he was behaving like a kiddo. She remembered how he was pissed off with her smile.
Its really easy to irritate him, isn't it? She thought.
But now Gunjan herself was getting irritated. It was 9:45 AM already and she was running late for college,.. actually they were! Gunjan was about to leave for college earlier when Jatin uncle insisted her to go with samrat. But Samrat was still getting ready.
What is he doing by the way? Itna time to girls bhi nahi lagati' I don't wanna be late on first day itself' gunjan rolled her eyes looking at the watch again.
"Uncle, der ho rahi hai. I think I'll leave now." She said impatiently.
"Arey nahi, akele mat jao beta. Wo abhi aata hi hoga" Jatin said as gunjan sighed looking upstairs.
"Aap chinta mat kariye uncle, I'll be fine. Aur waisebhi main pehle din hi late nahi hona chahti. Main samrat se college me mil lungi'" She turned to face Jatin
"Itni bhi kya jaldi hai yar? Chill!" Samrat said coming downstairs.
Gunjan looked at him. He walked past her and sat on the sofa with no intentions to hurry up.
"Maa'. My breakfast!" he demanded.
"Samrat , we are getting late." Annoyance was evident on her face.
"Hmmm'" he switched on the TV and sank into the sofa.
"Samrat!" She said with exasperation.
"Yes?"
"Sam, Hurry up now. Its her first day and you shouldn't be late either." Jatin stepped in just in time.
Samrat looked at his father helplessly, now he had no choice. He quickly finished the tea and doughnut Shilpa has brought for him and left. Gunjan gave a grateful smile to Jatin and walked outside.
"Ye haath me kya hain?" he asked looking at the brown envelope in her hands.
"Wo letter hain, principal ke liye. Jatin uncle ne diya hain."
" Oh. Ok. Waise tum college jaane ke liye hamesha se hi itni hi bekarar hoti ho?"
"Muze sab kaam time pe karna accha lagta hian. I hate being late!" She said holding her head high. Samrat chuckled at her expressions and sat on the bike. Gunjan looked at the vehicle, then at her attire, and then she gulped.
"Jaldi karo, Kahi der na ho jaye'" Samrat said impishly.
"Ham isssspe jayenge??" Gunjan exclaimed as samrat started the bike.
"Haan , kyu? Helicopter se jaana tha kya?"samrat said sarcastically,"chalna hian to chalo, warna main akele hi ride karna jyada pasand karta hu."
Gunjan stared at the bike, then at samrat.
"Ab nahi late ho raha tumhe?" He said, mocking her "Jaldi chalo' I hate being late!"
Gunjan hesitantly sat on the back seat and grabbed the handle present at the back of the seat. Samrat was looking at her through the mirror, enjoying the awe on her face.
"Kabhi bike pe baithi nahi ho?" He said, watching her expressions.
"ummm' actually, ' Nahi." She said hesitantly.
"Ohho' so this is ur first time. And that too with me? Gunjan Ji, Dupatta sambhalke'" He said with a broad grin and vroomed the bike on the road as Gunjan let out a small scream.
This is going to be the scariest ride in your life, Gunjan!!' he thought.

Gunjan was sure she'll die by the time they reach the college, either by heart attack or by falling from the bike. But to her surprise, she was still alive when the bike came to a halt. She opened her eyes slowly, just to find a smiling Samrat curiously waiting for her reaction.
"If you wanna go for another round, I don't have a problem. But I thought you were getting late!"
Gunjan just stared at him. What is that supposed to mean?
"College aa gaya. Now you can stop smashing my arm." He said looking at her hand which was still squeezing his arm. Only then she realized what she was doing.
"Sorry" she said as she moved her hand away from his. They started walking towards the college.
"So, Kaisi thi ride?" he asked with an amused smile.
"Muze pata nahi tha ke tum muze itna dislike karte ho." she scowled.
"Arey nahi! Main to tumhe like karta hu, Gunjan!!" Samrat feigned innocence.
"Accha? Matlab tum roz aisehi bike chalate ho? Scary!! I wont ever sit on your bike!!"
"Aisa mat kaho please' mera dil tut jayega'!" samrat said dramatically, pressing one hand on his chest.
Gunjan opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by a voice.
"Hi sammy!!" a girl called him and waved at their directon.
"Hey candy!" Samrat smiled back, "How are you?"
"Main to thik hu, par tumhe kya hua? Kisne dil toda tumhara?" she caught them in the entrance.
"Wo chodo, inse milo. Ye hain miss Gunjan Bhushan Jee." He emphasized the "Jee" and continued, "Ye aajse hamare sath hamare college me padhne waali hain.Aur Gunjan, ye hain Diya."
"Oh my god sammy! Ye gunjan hain?" The girl exclaimed, "Wow! Heard a lot about you. Nice to meet you.." She said with a broad friendly smile as samrat stared at her with disbelief.
Heard about me?... Gunjan was confused.
" Heard about her? From whom?" samrat gave voice to gunjan's thoughts.
"of course from Benji yar! you know sammy, usne jab muze kal ke baareme bataya, I was laughing like mad'" Diya chuckled as gunjan joined her.
"Ye benji ki to'" samrat growled, "Kaha hain wo?"
"Tumne pukara aur ham chale aaye'" Benji sang the lines, but stopped in the middle after seeing a sulking samrat, "Dude! Wrong timing, muze kuch kaam yaad aaya, muze jaana hai."
"Are Ruk Dude!" samrat held the collar of his Shirt and said," Yar maine suna tune meri aur 'Gunjan' ki bahut publicity ki hain."
" Nahi dude! Sirf diya ko hi to .."
"Diya!" Samrat turned to diya who looked at them with confusion," Pata hian candy, Benji tumhe sab kuch batata hain, SAAb Kuchh..! sirf ek baat nahi batata'"
"Kya?" Diya asked curiously.
"Kuch nahi diya. Ye aisehi.." benji tried to cover up.
"Nahi muze sunna hain! kya nahi batate tum?" She said excitedly.
Diya could never bear two things unfinished ' one, Makeup. The other one was gossip. Samrat knew he had trapped benji.
"Wo ye' ke.. umm.. Principal..!" Benji pointed at a random point.
"Kaha hain?Muze principal se milna hain." gunjan looked at the direction benji was pointing. But she saw nothing.
"Nahi hain."Diya smacked Benji's arm, "Wo aaj college late aanewale hain. Aur baat ko taalo mat, I'll get back to you at this later." Diya said and samrat chuckled at this. Benji made a face at samrat.
"By the way gunjan, tumhara jawab nahi. Sammy ko irritate karna bada mushkil task hain. tumne itni aasani se kar diya." And the two girls laughed heartily.
"Candy! I'm still here!" Samrat snarled as diya pressed her hand on her mouth to stop herself from laughing.
"Ohk, sorry.." and again exploded the laughter, this time benji joined them too.
Miss chashmish, I wont leave you for this' I'll get back to you' Samrat stared at her angrily. Diya saw his face and realized that he was about to burst in anger.
"Relax sammy. I'm sorry." Diya said,"accha gunjan, princi to abhi aaya nahi hain. Chalo main tab tak tumhe college dikhati hu."
And she took Gunjan away from him.
"Hey dude! Abhi tak temperature bahot jyada hain kya?" Benji asked samrat, who was still staring at the direction they went.
"I'm always cool, Benji!"He said grinning,"Par Temperature to ab badhega. Mera nahi, uska."
"Ur smile is telling me u have some plan." Benji said studying his face.
But samrat was not looking at him. Something on the floor caught his attention. He picked the brown envelope.
"Ye kya hain?" benji asked.
"Plan!" Samrat smiled wickedly.
