Or maybe he's just afraid to hear that she may have liked someone else before they met.....

He may feel really hurt 😭 so he prefers not knowing......you know the saying "ignorance is bliss"

i also recall in the initial few episodes they had hinted at Bharat also having had a heart break in the past.. Maybe he thinks thats what Avni wants to talk to him about, and so is avoiding the discussion....

Even I think so too..may be he knows Avni's past and just wants to avoid the topic all together. But if he already knows he as well talk to her and ease her guilt.

i have been thinking the same thing...i guess he thinks that as long as she doesnt bring it out in the open he wont have to face her past...he can pretend it doesn't exist
