What do you think about the judging so far?

Okay, I've got to admit this, I wouldn't have found myself saying this two months ago, but am actually loving the judging. Farah Khan is SO good, I doubted her at the start, after all the drama in Nach Baliye, but I guess I understand why sometimes I still prefer Zee Tv, well DID anyway. At least most of the drama is cut off! She's been lovely so far, explaining everything, and giving hints to improving as well. 😛

Sandeep's really cool too, although sometimes I seriously don't understand his reason behind not liking or liking something, but that's totally fine, I'll jot it down as personal taste! 😆

I didn't think I would want to watch the episode when it came to judging. Not after Terence-Remo-Geeta. But I seriously think Farah-Sandip are much better judges when it comes to children than they were with adults. But one main reason would obviously be since the skippers are not the judges themselves, like in the adult's version.

And I specifically love how they give hints, tips, suggestions to improve. Not only are the children getting better that way, but so are the skippers! Superb!!

P.S This isn't a comparison topic, if you want to convert it into one, please refrain from posting such comments. It's simple a thread dedicated to sharing your views! :)

I agree the judges have been giving nice tips to the skippers. The new format of keeping skippers separate from judging is also better than the old one where masters were competing and judging at teh same time.
Farah has been good...but some times a lot less detailed than, what I would like. Terrence has been the best so far in terms of judging dance in detail for its technicalities. Overall Farah has a good knack of showmanship though....Sandip showed the best judgement in ballroom episode (barring teh best performance award to Avneet+ Manoj). For other forms, I am often perplexed on why he did not pick up things or did not say them if he picked it up.
Some times I do feel that they are judging people based on the impression they have of the dancer rather than the dance that was performed right there and then. They also have their own slant for things....meaning things they give more importance to than the others.....does not make it right or wrong...it is a matter of what styles they prefer personally .......😊
Note: I may be wrong but somehow I also think....judges don't give totally independent judgement. The producers of the show do have some input .....not in exactly what the judges have to say....but in overall rating of a contestant/ skipper.

The judging is really good.
But Wild Card round's judging was a total waste. The 2 kids they selected were not deserving.
Also, I dont get, how they choose the skipper of the week award.
Rest everything is fine.

Farah and Sandeep are really good. I prefer Farah's take on criticism than Sandeep's because at times I just cant understand his point of view. Though I do like how he points out very precise things that I or the viewers might not notice. I feel that these two are quite strict and better at judging because they do NOT have their own team like Terence, Geeta, and Remo do. So they are all fair, and equal. The other 3 judges will always be somewhat partial to their own contestants, and a little more harsher on the others - we've seen it!. (except terence hehe) 😎

I like it better than other shows because they actually say exactly what they felt was not right and they do replays
I've seen Farah flip out in other shows but she hasn't really gone overboard here; her judging is quite nice
Sandeep is a little too nice, but still he knows his stuff too
Also the judges do not fight so that's always nice

Have a great night,

Agree, and I feel that (like Pimpjuice said) the judges are not that biased because they don't have their groups in which the contestants are in so that why they make it better

During the initial elimination of the contestants by Judges....the decisions were just! And I was like....ok its fair judging....but the WC round remembered me that DID LM comes on Zee 😕 and the decision on the WC round is highly channel driven and I don't blame the judges for so.

Then came the ball room week......I was highly impressed by the way Sandip judged the performances. But soon my impression fell flat that he announced the performance of the day award for paso doble. 🤢 The paso doble was great but not the best. 😕

Now a days I find a strange imbalance of criticism between the skippers. In ballroom round dharmesh presentd argentanian tango in the place of Ballroom tango and Sandip was pretty polite with him..... and I find ok since every skipper has his own forte and the process of learning never ceases for a skipper. But this week it really turned me off how geeta criticised mayu-vrush for manoj's faulty Shanae turn.....she even referred Terence. But I just want to ask....which is to be criticised more?? a wrong dance form for a faulty movement?? 😕

P.S. I am not questioning any skipper's potential or achievement.....I am questioning few jusgement of the judges.
