Most of all, I want people to appreciate some of these great singers and get to know their awesome singing better! I think you are definitely doing that! It's in games like this when we concentrate on the singer's singing do we truly realize how fantastic they are.


And that's what I've always said....More important than winning or losing is just appreciating all the singers. Because thats what matters more at the end of the day.

And just wanted to add...the biggest win for any of the singers here will be having their singing more appreciated and recognized by their fans! Which I think Shreya Ghosal and a lot of the other singers have definitely done in this contest.

Exactly! To be completely honest, even though this round has been a battering for me, I discovered a great new song by Sadhanaji and could, for the first time, appreciate the beauty of 'Nimbooda Nimbooda' fully!

Giving them less points saying that they have even better songs then this, isnt good reason, I mean arent we supposed to listen to this song & judge her according to her singing in this song?

Agree with you. Since you talked generally about the judges and judging pattern, I couldn't resist myself to reply to you, though I am late. I don't think I have been strict with Shreya anywhere. I just hear the song a lot of times and give out my opinion, try to be as unbiased as I can be. In fact I love all the singers in this competition. As a judge, have to probe in more to the particular things of the singing. I am very much open to criticism. So, no problem at all. Cheer up, Enjoy the competition! 😊
