Deepika Shoots Sarcasm At Ash

Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone ruffled quite a few feathers at the recently held Cannes Film Festival where the tabloid raged up a war between their attires scrutinising their each and every Red Carpet appearance from top to toe.

While Aishwarya was compelled to wear the glamorous western attires for professional commitments, critics didn't take time in fishing out their knives pointing with a fetish grin at Aishwarya's vulnerable throat.

Meanwhile, this allowed a lesser known Deepika Padukone to grab some limelight as she was at liberty to drape her long legs and those tasty twin assets in the 5 yard garment called saree.

Now, getting outspoken as always, Ranbir Kapoor's former girlfriend and Katrina Kaif's arch rival, Deepika lashes out at Ash with her words smeared in sarcasm. Not taking names, she compares her garments with Aishwarya's and lips,

"It is not about who wore what, who else was there and who did what. I went there just for myself, look my best and make the best of the time that I was there. For me, as long as I have achieved that and given 100%, it doesn't matter who else was there."

And we wonder, has she declared an open war with the former Miss World?
