not related to kyph, but need help

Hey guys,

I need help in something. I need to write a profile essay on a place, and I thought about writing on Hindu temple. Can you all give me your input on the significance of the temple to the religion? Just general information about temple, and why we go to temple, and any thing that you might think will be helpful.

I don't know much about Hindu temples as well as Hindu religion. I have been to Hindu temple only once so I can't really write my 6-page essay. I will go though and try to get information from those that go to that temple. But I thought why not ask you guys, and get any type of help I can get from you guys. It's doesn't even have to specifically about the temple, I would love to learn more about the Hindu religion itself.

Hey happe!

Long time no see!

A temple is a place where people go to get blessings from god. Where it be any culture in the the hindu religon everybody has there different styles of praying and why they go to the temple. A temple is a place which consents of many different religous statues of god. A pandit or a priest recites a aarti or a prayer every morning and night as a ritual. After that the the pandit gives out the parasad or food that was touched by god. Parsaad mainly consits of coconuts or almunds. When you first enter a mander there is bell that you ring, i am not sure the meaning of that. When we go to the temple we take off our shoes so no dirt or anything bad goes itno god's house.
