Currently...we have an Armaan - the man who's been with Riddhima for the past 3ish years. He loved Riddhima more than his own life..and has proven so time and time again. Finding out that he had a psychotic disorder, he sacrificed his love, and told Riddhima to forget him and move on, as she shouldn't have to bear the pain of seeing him in that condition. Unfortunately, he didn't see it coming that dmg is all about miracles, and that he was going to make a miraculous recovery. He told Riddhima to move on with her life - yes. However, he didn't know that he was gonna be there to see it, or how much it would really hurt. Often times, imagining something is a lot easier than actually seeing it.
Finally, we have a Sid. The guy that started out ruining her life, but grew to be the one friend that Riddhima thought she could depend on. He was there for her through one of the toughest times of her life. He started helping her out for Dr. Shashank's sake...but soon started having feelings for our Ridzie (looking at our gorgeous Jenny, who can blame him?😉...Regardless, married to Riddhima, he tried being a good husband...and in trying to be a good friend and husband, when Armaan came back, he tried to let the two of them reach an unbiased decision. Though i am personally an AR fan, even I have to admit that Sid's character is pretty great...and had i had not had 3 years of AR moments to compare it to...maybe I would've loved SR as much as some people now do.
Finally, we have a Riddhima - the girl who made enemies out of her friends and family and set out looking for her love. She finally succeeds and finds her Armaan. What does she get in return? a stupid LETTER from Armaan telling her to forget him and move on with her life. I can only imagine how much must've hurt. Riddhima was completely justified in yesterday's epi when she said, "Tumhe tumhari Riddhima pe bilkul bharosa nahi tha? Tum ek baar kehte, tho main zindagi bar, marti dum tak tumhara intezaar karti." He was the one that told her to move on...and she finally does - and he decides to come back and say, 'couldn't you have waited a little bit longer'.
Since this love-triangle has started, I've seen soooo many posts blaming Riddhima for not choosing a side. Can you honestly blame her for being as hurt and angry and distant to Armaan as she is?? Yes, Armaan's heart is broken, and it's horrible as a viewer to watch it - but it's not like Riddhima's heart wasn't broken into a million pieces too...Yes - she is married to Sid, and knows he's a good guy...but Armaan's been in her life for almost 2.5 years more than him...she can't just erase that kind of history over night...it took all of her will power for Riddhima to move on from her past, from her Armaan, and try to transition into a new phase in her life.
So from all this, can someone please tell me who the 'bad guy' is supposed to be?? Since this love triangle's started, there have been numerous posts blaming Armaan, Sid, and Riddhima...But from what we know and love about these characters, can they really be expected to act in any other way than they have been?
I'd love to hear all of your opinions on this topic :)
P.S. - sorry it's sooooo long - i didn't realize that I have so much to say :P
