IF's MKMM Conclusion

First of all, a big thank you to all that participated. Including the judges, the ones who posted their thoughts, and all the people that voted! Thank you everyone 👏


I had a great time, it was really fun to sit back and see a competition between the top singers and see how they compare against each other. all are really good no doubt. Also reminds us how many talented singers we have. Just awesome all the way around. A special thanks to the judges for actually doing the tough task of judging them. 👏

And congrats to our winners Sonu & Shreya too. 2 well deserving winners if you ask me. They are the winners of the 1st ever IF's MKMM. Though i want to say that if this was run again some other time, with maybe a slight change in judges and a different audience, with different song selections, the result could have been different as well. that's just a side note.

What's next? well, instead of a past decade, a past 2 decade contest for each female and male would be very interesting and competitive. but this will be a project of the future sometime. Maybe when there is another music show going on, maybe in the middle of that sometime. But someone is going to have to PM me because we only have Star Plus and Zee TV in our house, so I only watch shows from those channels and wouldn't know if another music show came on or not in another channel.


Another interesting idea, that related directly with MKMM I had too. It's actually very exciting. We have 4-6 "captains" (Members on IF), we have a quick little draft where they select professional singers to their team. So each member has a team made of singers from bollywood. After that, well, it's like MKMM. You pick a song for your singer, have them sing, audience votes, the other members are judges and also score the performance. We have rounds like "Dil Se Round", "Muqqabla Mix" and "Duet Round" etc. So basically it's like MKMM in real life, but you are the captain, and your team is made up of real singers from bollywood. Pretty intruiging if u ask me.

But thats a dream project that I don't know if I'll ever be able to complete, would be interesting though. Maybe if there is ever a MIKMM 2 on Star plus?


But one more time, thanks to everyone that participated, i enjoyed it, and especially the judges! And one more time give it up for the winners of the 1st IF's MKMM

Thank you risingabove - you are the best producer ever! You created a great game and injected a much needed source of fun and entertainment for everyone on IF. And I'm grateful to you for making me a judge - it made the whole contest doubly fun for me!

Yeah it would've been pretty cool. Think about it. First you have a draft, where you get a chance to select your favorite singers to your team. While you look for the best and your favorites, you also have to keep in mind to have some balance among the singers. In terms of, having some "Dil Se" singers who can sing some slow songs for your team, or looking for some "Muqqabla Mix" singers who can rock the fast songs. And maybe even some "Duet" combinations. It would take some planning for your draft, but just the whole draft is usually fun. (for those who don't know what a draft is, it's where you and others select singers, in some kind of fair order, for your team).

And then after you have your team. You go against another team of professional singers like in MKMM. Probably would have 1 Round per day. Just like in real life where they have to plan who sings what and when, you would have to do some planning yourself. But it's kind of fun because you have a team of talented singers, and hopefully you select some of your favorites in the process. 😃



but like i said, maybe in the futures sometime. MKMM is ending on Star Plus. maybe if there is a MKMM 2 or something. i don't know.
