WOW Mads!!! I don't know how many times I've read ur post. Its truly amazing. The more I read it, the more and more I love it, the more and more I love SaJan and the more and more I love u.. 🤗🤗🤗

To me, the concept of soulmates seemed very bookish, or filmy, mayb bcoz I cud see ppl in love around me, but there was always some kind of a conditionality attached to it. Love came as a packaged deal, where u had to give something to get love. Whereas, the word Soulmates somehow conveyed the meaning to love someone, to live for someone UNCONDITIONALLY, or mayb the ONLY condition to bring a smile on ur soulmate's face, even though u urself r terribly hurt. No taking, and only giving, giving and giving.

As u said, Samrat and Gunjan were like two opposite poles, they were like two ends of a river, that cud never meet. When she, alongwith her sister, came to Mumbai, he and his friends were on the mission to play pranks on them, to dishearten them, to de-motivate them. She was shy, w as delicate as a flower, had a pure heart and was happy in her own world. He was outgoing, was confident, had a pure heart and was happy in his own world. But still their worlds were INCOMPLETE, as if something was missing in their lives. Soon they realized that their mere presence wid each other COMPLETED them. When they two were together, the whole world seemed beautiful, peaceful, and heavenly. And then wid the share of ups and downs in their relationship, they both knew that they live for each other, they laugh for each other, they cry for each other, they LOVE each other. Their love was beyond any expectations, any selfishness, any ifs, any buts, any you, any me. It was beyond any conditionality and hence, from friends they became true SOULMATES of each other.

I read somewhere sometime back that "a soulmate is the one person whose love is powerful enough to motivate you to meet your soul, to do the emotional work of self-discovery, of awakening". To be honest at that time, I cudn't relate to it that how can someone's love motivate u to meet ur own self, ur own soul, to discover urself, to awaken urself. But SaJan made this definition, this quotation come alive. I cud see these two fit in every dimension of it.

Their love was and is powerful enuf to meet each other's soul. Even before their confession of love, their souls had united, their eyes have always been the medium of communication for these two, their happiness, their sorrows have been dependent upon each other's happiness and sorrows. And this all is the power of their love that despite being at distance from each other, their souls are always together. So much so that when one of them has lost the will to love and her heart stopped beating, the soul cudn't bear the pain of parting with the other's soul, leaving her wid no other option, but to come back. Hence, their souls have been their motivation , the driving force to love each other sooo selflessly and unconditionally.

Isn't it also true that their love has made them rediscover themselves??? Instead of seeing the world from their eyes, they see the world from each other's eyes and this has made things more and more beautiful for them. He discovered that life is way beyond materialism and artificiality. He discovered that its not just ur physical appearance that makes ppl go crazy for u, love u, but actually it's the beauty of ur heart, ur soul that ppl should see. He realized that life is not complicated at all, its u urself that complicate it. Wid her, life became simple, pure, liveable and loveable for him. And she, she discovered that there is a life out of her shell also. She discovered herself, her hidden talent because of him. She always thought others to be beautiful, charming, but he made her feel herself as the most beautiful girl, who not only has a pretty face, but also has the most pleasant and amazing personality as well as a heart of gold.

U're right Mads, fate has brought them together. They were destined to b together, because individually they are Samrat and Gunjan, but when they are together, they r SaJan (lovers who exist for, live for each other)..
