Uh... no she's not😕

Deepu and Jyoti and Sudha and Sushma all share the same DAD. Sudha and Jyoti had a different Mother but because they have the same Dad as Deepu and Sushma they are HALF Siblings.

Step Siblings come in when the parent of one child marries the parent of another child and those children don't share any DNA between them at all.

So Poonam is not just rude and disgusting she's also an idiot.

I just remembered that the actress who plays Poonam also played Sia in DharamVeer and another character in Chand Ke Paar Chalo. She was a witch in those dramas as well😆

How does 'sautera' translate into English? As HALF sibling or STEP sibling? Padma wasn't talking in English.

Also, one could make the case that Jyoti & Sudha are mauseri COUSINS of Deepu & Sushma.

Actually, in this aspect, Bhairavi is so much better than Padma in that she loves her nephew even more than her son (but her daughter more than either of them). I dunno whether she loves Pratik more than Uday or not.

OTOH, she could take some tips on how to treat a bahu from Padma. While Bhairavi is a bitch when it comes to how to treat a bahu, Padma is at the other extreme, and puts down her own daughter (let alone her neice) in favor of her bahu.

Fascinating contrast in profiles.
