There are a few reasons why Debo's votes may have increased:

People enjoyed his song - -look at the audience reaction. Also the recap
of the singers showed Debo singing a flawless tan so that is the last
impression.

After Nihira's ouster people may have felt:
the need support a good singer
the need to support ID
the need to hurt HR

After Debos' unfair mentometer marks:
people may feel that TPB were setting Debo up to lose

With the domination of Himani and Vineet week after week, people from
outside Hindi/Punjani dominated Indian states may feel sidelined so they
feel the need to step up. Plus Assam feels like they may have the next
Bhupen Hazarika.

If there is Bengali bias voting, then maybe Ujjaini's supporters were
shifted tp Debo as well.

I think a more interesting analysis is lloking at vote totals.

One more thing:

how many Paresh supporters were shifted to vineet -- probably none
given HR's crappy behavior.
