** NE Voting analysis -- A must read ****

After all "Aag ke bina dhuan nahi uthta")

-> last week the overall votes were 60 lakhs ( nihira got 14+ % votes and Debojit 16% +, himani 17%, vinit- 30%, hema - 23%).
Debojit = 9.6 lakhs
Nihira = 8.4 lakhs
Vinit = 18 lakhs
himani= 10.2 lakhs
Hema= 13.8 lakhs.

-> This week total votes = 70 lakhs ( debjot = 42%, second highest = 25 %, third highest = 20%, fourth highest = 15%)

second = 17.5 lakhs
third = 14 lakhs
Fourth = 10.5 lakhs
Debojit = 29.4 lakhs ( 80% FROM nE = 23.52) = 5.88 lakhs

1. lets discard 50 % of the votes from NE, so net vote = 5.88 + 11.76 = 17.64
2. lets discard 60 % of the votes from NE, so net vote = 5.88 + 9.4 = 15.28
3. lets discard 70 % of the votes from NE, so net vote = 5.88 + 7.1 = 12.98

now i cannot go beyond that , then that would be very unfair....If they are voting in such high numbers than no body has stopped other regions to vote , so i cannot go below 70%. Now even if we divide the remainig votes equally among the three ( 58/3) = 19.33. which means the lowest would have got around 17 % ( logically, i think it should be even less that that).

fourth highest = 17% of 70 = 11.9..

mind it i have not discarded some % of regional voting from the fourth person.

Conclusion:
----------

1. In all worst case scenario , debojit is still the third.
2. Debojit increased his vote share by ( 11.9- 9.6) =
3. Two of the remaining contestants have actually reduced their votes share.

******>>>> I always maintained PUBLIC VOTING should be banned .I feel pity for hema chandra, as no matter how many lakhs , their parents spend, people from south will not vote in high numbers for him...The only hindi serial which runs in south india is KBC2.Also feel , hemachandra , should quickly get rid of whatever little accent he has. Bengalis and south indian are heavily accented , when it come to speaking hindi, but i have seen bengali singers has a edge, because it doesn't come out when they sing.HAs any one heard Kumar shanu or baapi da speaking in hindi...Geniaaaaaaaaaas :).However I must admit hema chandra has a great original voice..Even kishore was not very good at classical singing but man, he had a great voice, cannot be copied fully for centuries to come.

looks like every body agreed to my analysis. If so many people agrees then again there is a probelm :) .Nothing can be 100% correct :) I would appreciate people to comment on this, even if u agree or disagree...

No matter what, its very hard for hema to get votes from the south because they don't watch saregamapa that much like the east, west or north. To get 60 % of the vote from rest of India, that is a great statistic. That means more people from other regions vote for Hema than his southern belt. Go figure. I don't even know why we are even discussing who is India's best anymore.

Like I said earlier ... if you're game for public voting accept the verdict !!!

Who knows it may be only South Indians who are voting for HemaChandra whether it comes from Delhi, Mumbai or any other metro ... Likewise it's absolutely possible that only Bhaiyya party (UP and Bihar) is voting for Vinit ... whether they are in Delhi or Mumbai (both of these cities have high percentages of Bhaiyyas and even South Indians).

Just because North East people don't move much out of their region and they are voting for Debojit ... it appears that Debojit gets his vote only from North East and the rest are getting votes from mixed indians ...

Please !!! Vinit and Hema may be getting more votes from other parts of India ... but afterall they are nothing but the vote of UPites and Biharis and South Indians only ... only resident in a different part of India to their nativity ....

Don't see where the votes came from see who it came from .... and you will see the story is same for every participant ....

Bottomline : Accept public verdict whatever it may be when you're going for public voting ....

yes, inspite of all the short comings, hema is doing well..and above all he sings good. also one point to mention, except his family speding 2 laks rupees ( which is very valid looking at popularity of hindi serials in south) and ohis over enthusiastic father, he has a no controversies... musci wise except accent issues, he doesn;t jabe any problem...

regarding walking out controversies, he is too young, small, to say no to the person who has asked them to do it...did u notice , when he was walking out( i mean to the stage), he looked back at his mother( his mother might have asked him about it), and the way he responded, it looked like he was helpless :) poor kid...


i would be very nice to give the same ( difficult )song to each of them and see , how they perform...

Yes he looked completely helpless and my heart goes out to him, when
asked he didn't blabber anything but said I am sorry. He is an extremely
cultured guy who got stuck in between peer and mentors.

1. very true , agreed. however there are equal chances of UPites, Biharis, South Indian in east , north and equal chances of southindian in up , bihar, and equal chances of west people in south and north. there could be al of them every where.. However the probabilites of UPites, Biharis, maharasthrians, south indian, are very less in NE .. you will not find much of them there....

2. So i did the analysis based on that assumption.. and i have discarded 70% of the votes from NE..however till i see debojit coming to the top three..

3. It is not that we have to accept public voting because it is there. If u do an good in depth analysis, the whole controversy of NE voting for debojit is baseless.......
