I seriously want the season one interns back!! I want that friendship back! Cos now its more of love and lost love than friendship!!!!!!

Sakshi, have I asked you whether you've seen Sanjivani before? 😕 I seriously can never remember who has seen it before (other than Aisha, because that's how I met her in the first place). You're absolutely right about the Shashank from Sanjivani, for whom devotion to Sanjivani and his patients drove him away from his family...Destiny brought Smriti and Anjali back to him, and then in the semi-sequel, Smriti has died and Anjali is made out to be this gray character. Gray characters are intriguing (and Su was freaking brilliant) so naturally I loved Anjie even more when I decided to actually watch some old scenes. Anjali went through such a transformation these past two years, and I personally think it's ridiculous to throw away a character who was an actual link to Sanjivani back then. I guess I sound like a stuck record whenever I talk about this stuff, but that's because Shashank and Anjali were such unique characters. They were perfect for my analytical brain. But this Shashank who seems to only have one daughter is not familiar to me...

Whew. Anyway. That locker room flashback had me almost burst into tears! Of all the flashbacks to show, put one in of Anjali looking incredulously at those lockers and saying "Yeh lockers hai ya letterboxes?"

Riddhima wasn't even present during that scene, but that's besides the point! Why the torture?

Priceless, priceless moment!!! She knew, of course she knew! She was jealous of Hetal at that time!

And THAT reminds me of just how much I love Su's dialogue delivery! She has this way of just rattling on and on and on...Especially in her scenes with Pankit...

"Atul! Stop right here! Chup! Chup chaap yaha khade raho! Mujhe pata hai tum hamesha meri help karte ho, par aaj nahi. Kyunki aaj main khaana khud bana rahi hoon. *ignores Atul's frantic signing about the fire behind her* Not today. Not THIS time. Aur yeh mat socho ki mujhe banaana nahi aata because I'm brilliant, you know? Main kisi bhi cheez mein apna mann lagaati hoon, and I just become good at it! I'm an excellent doctor, I'm a good cook, and don't worry - *stops abruptly, Atul sniffs and points behind her* ATUL!!! Yeh toh jal gaya! Tumne kuch kaha nahi?!"

LOL, Suma! Just me ranting as usual...😛

The secret admirer stuff, right? The day when he gets Anjali to actually confess that she was the one was June 30th 2009 - she was chasing him around the locker room and all...And then he hugged her, and after he left, there was this adorable monologue that ends with Anjali pausing..."Main apne aap se baatein kar rahi hoon?? I'm losing it!"

ROFL! Trademark Sunaina/Anjali line! "[Insert name] is losing it!" 😆

@Borna: OMG! I so agree with you!!!!!! Yeah, I did catch some of Sanjivani! I was a lil small to understand the whole thing! But yes! I do remember that Shashank very well! The person who left his family for others now again went ahead to leave one of his daughters for another! This is so not him!!!!

I know what you mean! When I saw that flashback, I literally couldnt stop my tears! They just came out all at once!! And to think that they show a scene when Angie was shown in a slightly negatice role! Its so like them!! They always blame a character/actor once they have left the show! And Atul's voice saying bohot hi ziddi type ki ladki hai! OMG! i so wanted her back!!! Just to see what they think of each other now that so much has passed between them!

I know! Every time I go back and watch those scenes, I fall in love with Angie for transforming from a jealous, grey character to an awesome sister/friend/daughter/colleague, in all a wonderful person!!!

Aww! Dont worry! You dont sound like a stuck record! I am glad I have someone to discuss this with!!!!!

🤗 It's got some really really cute AnJul moments! I'm sure you'll have fun watching it! 😃 Tell me about it! I'm probably the most insane Anjali fan around...I've loved her character ever since she was 6...Now I guess she's 24 or something. *shrugs* Of course we missed out on everything from 8 to 21...Haha!
