What If Rani/Preity Debuted Now?

and please I am just giving my opinion. NO BASHING!

Well Honestly.... i think That time is totally different and now is a different time...

When Preity and Rani had debuted at that time, the established actress were the one who were more given focus than the younger talent....

Today, even if one film of a new actress is hit then she is considered a star and given a lot of money in the beginning of her career.....

Even till date I think both the actress r doing their job in a fantastic way.... like preity always says what I wnt today is not what I wanted 10 yrs ago...

so that means she is trying to explore those roles which would suit her age and at the same time focusing not only on girl-next-door roles...which i m personally very proud of my fav actress.....

And coming to the point of them debuting now, if they would debute now then they would had age at their side....

coz talent is something they always had and experience is something they will gain with each passing day.....

Lets forget the age factor . Unlike current new actors that are great in their first movies they took time to grow.

Rani and Preity have something in them which most of today's actresses lack and that is their talent which takes the number one spot.
When Rani did KKHH she was just 19 and very new to the industry and was still able to hold her strata even in front of a much established known actress like Kajol.
People appreciated her as much as they appreciated Kajol because people saw potential in her and knew she was talented.
Infact it was her talent only which landed her into KKHH and Ghulam.Srk and Adi were the one's who noticed her in her first movie and recommended her to Karan and the rest is history.
Rani wouldn't have been where she is today if she wasn't talented enough.
She has a number of memorable performances to her credit.The highest number of awards in her kitty.Some brilliant performances in her career.
She isn't a pretty face like Aishwarya but still she has done great in her career and that is because of her talent.
She is where she is because of her talent which took her miles.She didn't need the "hot" or "exposing" or "beauty queen",etc. tags to make her known or sucessful.
Even if she would have debuted today,she would still have done as well because no matter what your age is or how you are in personal life,no one can ever take away your talent from you.
And talent is the only thing which takes you far in your career and gives you reputation.

Just because someone did not do that well (in terms of acting) in their first movies, does not mean they won't do well. Katrina is a prime example.

And just because someone did well in their first film does not mean they will do well later as well. Classic example is Gracy Singh. Vidya Balan too, but she's doing alright now.

Katrina and Deepika, both are beautiful, but honestly, their acting potential is quite low, isn't it. Kareena is a hit and miss. Ashwariya, same story. None of them are great actresses.

most of the actresses were quite mediocre in their debut films........Kajol, Karisma, Madhuri have all given horrible performances in their initial films...........thats not because of any lack of talent but it does take time to hone your talent & learn the nuances of the craft. Rani also evolved as an actress & is definitely amonst the best of bollywood...

would she have done better or worse if she had debuted now........on the basis of talent, yes she would have been as successful now as she was then...
