@Kavya: Very well said! You've made great points about Remix and the general impression on youth today cuz of shows like MJHT, DMG etc.

It's like TV has now reached a level where they WANT to dumb down the youth watching it beyond comprehension....as if they are not supposed to have any mental capacity to process basic sense in what is being shown.....sad to say the least.

@Kiran-madi: Thanks for liking the post :-)

I am cringing at the thought ... like someone once said, REMIX was a true CLASSIC in every way ... n the more 'youth shows' we are subjected to these days..the more my belief in the above statement deepens !!! and the ashi-sonia relationship is one of the BEST parent-child relationships ever shown ... infact, even characters like aman, who technically werent the main leads of the show had such a strong parental background shown ... but u kno what, I think the fact that remix was based on a spanish series called rebelde also maybe had a LOT to do wit it.. I'm not saying that the creatives' of remix have no hand, but I'm jus saying that remix has some basic script..and then they made alterations in that ...

here, in MJHT .. there is NO script...they jus write the story as they go on ... based on the 'scoops' n 'suggestions' given by us fans ... n that acc to me is not a really healthy way of creating a successful series...

secindly, I think that they dont really have any good story for a 'normal' parent-child relationship apart from the parents either being ridiculously childish and stupid ( like armaan's ) or then those who neglect their son ( like samrat's ).. heck, we dont even kno samrat's surname yet ... there's no intermediate !!! the one intermediate that was ther ... mayank and his mom has also been thoroughly ruined ...

frankly my opinion is that they cannot think beyond filmy dialogues and songs.. and fluffy mindless passionate romance ... so showing realistic emotions like a parent-child relationship is beyond their level of intelligence I feel !!!

Totally agree with the bold parts Mads 👏 👏 👏 I am okay with them choosing to take the suggestions also but their judgment in taking the right suggestions is what I have an issue with more than anything else.

And exactly like you said....even supporting character like Aman had such a well developed story and parental background.....MJHT mein toh aisa sapno mein bhi expect nahin kar sakte😆😆.....I mean....let's talk about Benji.....for all practical purposes toh woh aasmaan se hi tapka hai, haina??? They NEVER show ANY purpose to his life other than trailing after Samrat or goofing after him....the cliched sidekick in every manner who's not supposed to have any mind of his own beyond helping his best friend get out of one sticky situation after the other😆😆

EXACTLY kavz.. n thats wher u begin to doubt their intelligence ... I mean, THEY surely must know better than us as first of all they are adults and the creatives' which means they must have done some basic academic course in creative writing or theatre or stuff like that .. n how can they ask US for suggestions n scenes ??? I mean, it might be 'sweet' on their part to do so..to care abt such fans, but its entirely another thing to being DEPENDENT on them .. n thats what has happened ...

do u remember the initial days on MJHT .. that is before a certain creative head started interacting wit us on this forum, the whole college lectures n cafeteria scenes n all that...it was sooooo MUCH more believable ( if not realistic ) than this crap that is shown these days ....👎🏼

frankly, now I believe...we were better off NOT knowing any 'scoops' AT ALL...if knowing and suggesting scenes is going to lead to this !!!!

LOL I kno !!! his and uday's 'kantaben' scenes are a HEAD-SHOT !!! 🤢 they are frustrating BEYOND the level of tolerance... ALL he EVER advices uday is abt girls...and nothing else ... and he doesnt even bother to b near sam when his best friend is in such a situation ...

I mean, more than nebody else, I believ they shud hav shown benji-sam bonding..or benji trying to console sam..if NOT atleast making him remember what had happened the moment he left the farm-house .. BE with his best friend ...

guess they will tend to IGNORE every damn (in)significant thing in one particular track which is bulit up with a specific mission..in this case, samrat's realisation ...

the thing is..this attitude makes the show utterly predictable..I mean, now I know already whats going to happen at the end of this track..sam's gonna realise..n I'll be like FINALLY .. ( no comments abt the amount of joy m gonna feel then..coz I've been waiting too long for it.. 😆😆 ) .. but the surprise n fun element of the show is gone ...

I KNOW, in the beginning it seemed like a creative visiting the forum meant a better quality show but sadly it turned out to be WORSE

@bold: Bingo! They took the easy way out by catering to fan requests instead of using their brains to come up with something 🤢 🤢 It still surprises me as to how THEY don't KNOW the characters they have sketched themselves, it makes me doubt if they have REALLY had any formal education in creative writing or theatre, who needs to have that when all you have to do is simply ape B'wood mush , throw in some songs here n there and take 'suggestions' from fans on a public forum? 🤢 🤢

Mads yaar, the bottom line is that they don't how to develop ANY relationship in this show....It would have been great to see a Sam-Benji bonding scene if Sam's parents aren't here at this time (even though that's something pretty OTT given that their son is in JAIL....lol) but no, instead Benji would rather jump around with Uday to provide 'comedy' in this show *yawns*

There is no RESPECT for ANY relationship in this show.

And you're right....the surprise element is long gone.....the only thing that can surprise me anymore is the NEXT level of ghatiya dialogue the characters will mouth....for example, Samrat wondering why he doesn't see MAYANK in his dreams....LMAO...hahahaha...that one cracked me up for a good 5 minutes....lol

Anu, I am have come to a stage where even THAT won't surprise me 😆 😆 What WILL surprise me is if they show the characters developing (NOT MORPHING) somehow and making sense even though it is too late

This dialogue had me in splits too ... what are they trying to show? That Samrat has his priorities straight? I understand stretching Samrat's realization like a rubber band to a point where the band breaks - but even THAT is no excuse for a dialogue like THIS! 😆
