Anupamaa: Anupama is deeply embarrassed by the Shahs’ actions, chawl women decide to leave her house

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Rahi takes a dig at the dance ranis, saying that if they had stayed in a hotel, they might have walked away with freebies like shampoo, conditioner, or a towel, but since they were at the Shah house, they chose to steal a necklace instead. Her statement leaves everyone stunned. She goes on to claim that when the group first arrived at the house wearing the diamond necklace, she had noticed Sarita eyeing it closely and speaking highly of it. Preet steps in to point out that appreciating something doesn't mean stealing it, but Rahi ignores the comment and continues with her allegations, which also come across as a direct mockery of poor people.

Anupama immediately steps in to defend, saying that even in our scriptures, the poor are treated with respect. She questions how Rahi, being Anuj's daughter, can speak so lowly of people with less money. Anupama reminds her that not long ago, she herself lived a humble life in Dwarka, which would mean, by that logic, she too should be called a thief. Hearing this, Rahi warns her not to dare call her a thief. Anupama then raises her voice and firmly warns Rahi not to call Sarita tai a thief either.

Manohar also supports the dance ranis, saying he knows them well and they are incapable of such behaviour. Leela then points out Hasmuk's mistake, saying he invited the dance ranis to stay with them without verifying their background. Ansh tries to calm her down, suggesting that the necklace must be somewhere around the house and will turn up. Prarthana reassures everyone that she will search for it, as it's likely she misplaced it by mistake. However, Pakhi confidently declares that it won't be found because it has been stolen, further insisting, almost as if she could sign it in writing, that Sarita is the one who took it. Before Anupama can respond to Pakhi's claim, Sarita approaches her and states that she is not a thief, even willing to swear on her husband or her son to prove her innocence.

Anupama believes her, and Sarita breaks down in tears, explaining that she admired the necklace only because she had never seen anything like it before and wished she could own one herself, but she never stole it.

Anupama comforts her and apologises for the hurt caused by the accusations. Sarita offers to let them search her belongings if they wish, but Anupama refuses. Even Bharti says they can check everyone's belongings if needed, yet Anupama firmly states that no searches will be conducted. She makes it clear that she knows Sarita hasn't committed any theft.

Sarita then pleads with Anupama to explain this to her daughter, adding that she works in wealthy households in Mumbai but has never taken even a needle from anyone. She cries, insisting that she has never stolen anything in her life. Anupama reassures her, saying she has complete faith in her and expresses her shame over her own daughter's behaviour.

Pakhi, however, criticises Anupama for siding with Sarita over her own daughter. She then plays a video of Sarita, which she claims is proof. Rahi jumps in, saying the group should be renamed from dance ranis to dance dacoits, accusing Sarita of stealing the necklace. Sarita firmly denies the claim and says she will make a call. Rahi warns that if word gets out, the group will be disqualified from the competition. Pakhi demands to know who Sarita is calling and sarcastically asks if she has already hired a lawyer.

Meanwhile, Khyati visits Vasundhara and encourages her to take her medicines. Vasundhara expresses sadness over Parag's loss of determination and blames Prarthana for damaging the family's reputation. Khyati comments that even strong parents have moments of weakness. Vasundhara insists that Prarthana will return within two months, but Khyati feels Parag will only realise the truth once that happens.

Back at the house, Mangesh arrives after Sarita calls him. She is about to explain the reason for the call, but Pakhi interrupts, saying they have no time for her excuses. She checks the bag Sarita was carrying and finds chapatis inside. Sarita clarifies that her daughter Charu is unwell and prefers homemade food, so she was sending it to her. Pakhi refuses to believe her and accuses her of making up a story. Paritosh also joins in, claiming Sarita was trying to sneak away with stolen food. Anupama scolds him for making baseless accusations and reminds everyone of the values she has taught them. Sarita interrupts, asking her to let it go, and then tells Mangesh to leave as he is getting late. She also requests him not to mention any of this to his uncle.

Anupama politely stops Mangesh and asks him to wait while she goes inside to bring a plate for aarti and a bag of sweets. She comes back and asks if she can perform the aarti. She applies a tilak, does the aarti, and then apologises for everything that happened. She admits that her children have behaved rudely and acted poorly, apologising on their behalf as well. She says that while her children may have forgotten the values she gave them, she has not. Since Mangesh came to the wedding house and is their guest, she insists she cannot let him leave empty-handed, so she offers him the sweets.

At that moment, Preet steps in, saying there's no need for this. She snatches the sweets from Mangesh's hand, remarking that otherwise, people will say they even stole sweets. She hands the sweets back to Anupama, telling her to keep them. Preet adds that they had some self-respect left, but Anupama's family has completely destroyed it. She declares that Anupama's family has insulted their dignity, and for that reason, they have decided to leave the house.

In the precap, Anupama slaps Pakhi for wrongly accusing Sarita and demands that she apologise to the dance ranis. She also asks Rahi to say sorry, but Rahi refuses.
