FACTS FROM THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE

First let me make it very clear that I am not a supporter of Debojit. I just love good music. Till now I have been voting for Nihira, Hema, Himani, Debojit, and Ujjaini. Nihira was my favorite and now that she is out of this contest, I really don't care who wins this contest. But today I will be the " Devil's Advocate".

Today I will state only the facts and no rumor. Now it is evident, all the rumors that were spread yesterday in this forum are all FACTs. At this point this show is no longer about music, it is all about double standards, hypocrisy, and unethical conduct from our beloved "magical mentors" AS, HR, and their magical students. It surely requires a lot of courage for the contestants to walk out of the recording of the show and that too because another contestant received the highest votes. I SALUTE YOUR SPORTING SPIRIT. This is what we need from our coming generation. They have the guts to protest when some injustice is done.

Now my question to these brave contestants are, where was your fighting spirit when Nihira received the lowest number of votes. Why didn't you walk out then? Did you all really think that you all were better than Nihira and Nihira was undeserving. Or you all were happy that someone more knowledgeable than your unethical mentors is out of your way.

So why did they walk out now because their so-called undeserving candidate got the highest votes or they are scared to the bone.

I was stunned by the audacity of that dwarf Vineet. How did he dare to call Debojit undeserving? Does he think he is the best singer there? And how did he get that idea: because his backboneless mentor who does not understand ABCD of music said so. Let me tell you one thing, you self destructing arrogant 17-year-old kid that in India Pandit Jasraj ji is the last word in music, and you have LOST to the same "so called undeserving" Debojit in SaReGaMaPa Fame 2005 just six months back. And that time public was not the judge, Pt. Jasraj ji was. SO DON'T YOU EVER DARE TO THINK THAT DEBU IS UNDESERVING. You will have to take two more births to perform the "Alaaps" and the "Sargams" that Debojit performed in the Qawali round. First learn to be a good human being and appreciate good music and talents, then claim that you are a good musician.

I always loved Himani's and Hemu's performance. Now I am ashamed to know that they followed Vineet too. I have few observations for you Hemu.

It is OKAY that your family spends 2 lac rupees on advertisement, but it's a CRIME when Debojit gets more votes than you. It is OKAY that you ask for votes in Telegu, but it's a CRIME when Debojit ask for votes in Assamese and Bengali.
1. Its OKAY that you get 40% of your votes from four states (AP, TN, Karnataka, and Kerala) from the southern part of India, but it's a CRIME when Debojit gets 70 % of his votes from seven states from the north east part of India. Where the rest of India is concerned both of you got pretty much the same percentage of votes.

I expected more class from you and Himani.

Call me Devil's Advocate but these are few things my friends that we need to think of before we vote the next time.

Superb man, How I wish if this writing is given to Vineet and Himani and also to Hema....... But I dont think that they would have understood all this. They seem to be spoilt brat, leaving the education behind and coming to Challenge 2005 for singing. Thats ok. But of all before behaving in this manner, they should learn to appreciate others and then sing. You have to be good human being first to become a singer to sing through your heart.

I completely agree with you. It just shows how fame can get to you? I voted for every one as well. They are all good singers. I have watched Himani in last few episodes. There was one time, when she got a yellow light, her mouth just dropped like she was saying," what me, but how, i sing so good!" GAy HR and AD encouragement and all those comments couldn't be digested by our new upcoming singers.

You are so right....they should have walked out when Nihira was out..

It's a shame.....where is that policy now....that public is everything...and we will accept anything....BS.

Vinit, Himani and Hemu should be eliminated for this behavior and Debo should be given the award.

I think, they just did what their mentors asked them to do. I dont think they have guts to do by themselves.It was a trick played by HR against ID (as ID walked outin the last episode).

Well said. But, imagine the position of those 3 kids. If AS and HR tell them that, ULFA is behind Debojit and you need to stage this walkout, they'll do it. Even better call their parents and tell them about the so called ULFA threat. Do you think, anyone in their right senses would let them compete further?. Don't blame the kids. I would give them 6 months atleast before judging them (after they come into bollywood)

Unfortunately, with all this mess ID has dug a grave for Debojit already. Did you see the line where AS says Debojit can win this competion but let's see how far he goes. ID doesn't have too many films. HR has quite a few and he is not going to give Debo any chances. I am not sure how many films AS has.

I still hope that singers like Nihira/Himani/Hema/Debojit get good offers from Bollywood and offer us good music (no, I didn't forget Vinit, I want him to sing for Zee's wedding shows which I won't listen anyway!).

Let's give them sometime before judging them!.

Do you really believe that. These are all dirty politics by AS and HR.

how can all of you blame the kids.when all the mentors openly argue fight and misbehave openly in public how can these young kids who have hardly seen life behave.did u see how debu behaved after his wife spoke stumping his feet and showing rage on his face .he is 27 years 10 years older than all of them and not able to control and behave decently.one thing i noticed hemu was also given step child treatment by all the mentors.only vinit and himani and nihira were praised.how much he wld have lumped silently.the great himesh always saying he has no universal appeal has an accent .where did all ur sermons go at that time.he never misbehaved or got his due.by the way whoever u are u were not present and u r assuming things on hear say and saying things.

If these kids are really scare of ULFA then they have quit the show quitely (by showing some excuse) not by making such a drama & exposing themselves. They have guts to publicly walkout how come they don't have guts to compete & ignore ULFA threats.

I don't think these 3 kids had the guts to walkout that day, someone must hv encouraged them to do...

whatever happened it was very bad... result is unfair elimination of Himani...

Can someone tell me who exactly elimated that day?? I know Debo got the highest votes, who got the lowest??

You and me would have done the same thing that Debu did, if we were in his shoes. There is a limit to injustice and dirty politics. No matter how well he sings he always gets the lowest. Last week 4 and 7, and this week 6 and 7. After that performance he surely didnot deserve that, where everyone else were getting a perfect score.
