Vishesh, I agree with most of the difference that they are not Same, but I didn't get the part about "duties" being different. This is exactly what the debate is about. who decides the "duties" of men and women as different. Traditionally women takes care of house and men does outside work....but now that when women can take over men's role and help him out with outside burden, don't you think men can take over some of her "duties" too? Some things they are gifted when they are born and are different as physique, hormones etc. and probably that's why we have two terms "he" and "she". But then things that human decides about he- doing certain things and she- doing certain duties is what we are talking about.

Please correct me if I misjudged your quote. 😛

Yes, some things are to be done by men and some by women which is something we can't do much. like physique- men are physically stronger than women and some things are to be done by them... same as nursing baby like you said should be done by women and there is nothing we can do about it...however, things that "we" have to decide that who gets to do what are sometimes biased and one sided..thats what I am trying to say here. Like, different rules for two gender. That is women is responsible for changing baby's diapers where men can also do that, or women sweeping and moping the floor whereas men of the house can also do that...those kind of things...but as again...this is general and today's generation is changing as we all know..men have started to show their concern and they too want to get involved in family activities and not be left behind. Like my husband, sometimes he wants to cook on sunday or eh is responsible for getting our daughter ready to school as I am not home early morning and he loves doing that and he thinks that its his family and he is creating bond with his daughter 'coz if I do everything she won't be that close to him. So yes, today's generation has different views.

Today's generation !!!

in past my parents were like old generation, but now my father too help my mother in many things, cooking etc..

and i am not married, but i help mummy in many things 😊
how i will share 'responsiblities' with my wife, i have not decided yet. Waiting eagerly to discuss with her these thing. 😳

Vishesh, example of your father helping your mother are very few in that generation. My FIL not only helps my MIL but also me. Whenever he is visiting here he help me with laundry, he has also cleaned my daughter diaper... not this is not all men in that generation would do. Take my father instead, he is not used to helping my mom with kitchen and household chores at all..wherease if you see my FIL I have also seen him helping with moping!! And there are very very few people in that generation who would do that. Today's generation there are few more then our parent's ...so people are getting more elastic as time goes.

About you waiting to discuss these issues with your wife- all i have to say is "good luck" 😉 you don't know what you are asking for!! 😃

I know,Our Society is the MOST HYPOCRITICAL Of all when it comes to Men Vs Women.

A Woman who hangs out in the Company of men,is given the dirtiest, meanest Tags that exist in this world, but a guy is tagged with a casual " Oh he's just a Flirt,Thats all ! " sentence
Why ???
