Ather Parwez hails from the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Currently based in the capital Srinagar, he works with the J & K's police crime branch. He fell in love with Rakhi when he saw her in the movie Krazzy 4. For him, Rakhi is a woman who has a clean heart and is a very good dancer.

A patriotic person, he believes that his nation comes before love; as love involves two people, while the nation involves billions of people. For him, distance between a couple does not matter. He thinks that Rakhi is a very genuine person and that's what attracts him to her. He does not care about her name or fame. He adds that women are the most beautiful of God's creations and are His gift to mankind.
