Katrina Kaif rules the ad world
Angelic beauty Katrina Kaif has emerged as the Bollywood actress with maximum number of endorsements in the year 2008.
She's not just ruling the filmdom and the Internet but also the ad world. According to the latest TAM Adex study, Katrina is the only woman featured in the list of top five Indian celebrities who are popular faces of the ad world.
The top position is of course taken by Shahrukh Khan who is the face of 21 products. Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni comes second, followed by Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the third and fourth position respectively. While Katrina takes the fifth spot, her contemporaries Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra couldn't make it to the top five.
Ad man Prahlad Kakkar explains why Katrina is so popular. He is quoted as saying, "She has an international face" and is "a complete male fantasy." He also compared Katrina with Aishwarya Rai and Zeenat Aman and agreed like many that Katrina is a true global face who can be made to look like a European, an Indian or an American because of her unique looks.
Well, after clinching the title of Bollywood queen, Katrina is now the new endorsement queen.
