Kolangal director eyes the big screen

After small screen directors Thirumurugan and Roshan have turned to tinsel vile, it is Kolangal director Thiruchelvan's turn! The director, whose Kolangal remains to be one of the top rated serials on TV, will be launching his first movie in May. The film has been titled 'Devadhai Sonna Kadhai'.

While it has been confirmed that Jayaraman and Devayani are playing important roles in the film, the hunt is still on for the title character, sources reveal. Devayani owes a lot to this director, for giving her a new lease of life following marriage, through his serial Kolangal, in which she plays Abi.

Even as the hunt for the next heroine of the film is on, speculations are rife that the mega serial that Thirumurugan has been directing, will come to a close by may, when he takes on his big screen dream.
