Hello, everyone...this is a short story I have written as my 18th birthday treat to all of you....Hani was pestering my to give her treat so i said why not to everyone then...
There is an India-British author, called Bali Rai...he is just a great author...I don't know if you guys have heard of him or read his books....his story's are great...my favourite book by him is Rani and Sukh...oh good i love that book and i cried soo much while reading that book...it's just great...his another book is (Un)arranged marriage, this one is again great...but i haven't read it yet....i have copied the tile though the story is different... So i hope you guys will read it and criticise it....all comments are welcomed....plz ignore my mistakes...i just finished off this and im so tired

At around for 4 pm her friend one by one wished her again and left except Katrina....

The Sharma's were more scared of what if their friend's and relative found out that their daughter had a boyfriend....it will be a big embarrassment and their name and fame will for sure be ruined....
Daksh checked her time table he made a note of when she has lesson and when she comes home early...so that he can drop and pick her up from school...
To bani's surprise daksh dropped her and picked her up...in fact he was always coming to her school before the school finished...
Looking at all this bani had gut feeling her family may have doubted her....
Since she had two months to finish school her dad even at weekend kept her home to study...
Bani felt like she was under house arrest...which was true also...amir found out also...so does Katrina...
One evening her dad give her surprise...
bani ...i have booked the tickets for India...we all will be going this summer...it has been long that we have been there it will be fun for you too...coz last time we went you were very young...
At the mention of going to India...bani's face paled...she stiffed...

huh nothing...im just a bit shocked...i mean oh nothing so when are we going then...asked bani...but inside she felt something was deeply wrong ...she tried to smile

Next day bani cried in the school toilet...katrina tried to help her...tried to cheer her up..saying things to her so that she doesn't get any negative feelings...but bani new something was going to happen....she informed amir too...but he didn't said anything to her...he kept mumed...
He wasn't sure about her either, he didn't know how much she meant to her...but he knew if his family found out then he is for sure dead....

Two months passed by quickly then bani thought her exams were over, all the time nothing changed she was under house arrest for two moths...except in school she couldn't meet amir either....
The much awaited time finally arrive...finally the sharma's were travailing back to India to their mother land...every one was happy except bani...the kids screamed out of excited...
In the last day of her exam...bani came out...daksh was waiting for her...she hugged ktarina and her other friend she cried...coz she knew something was going to happen to her, her heart warned her...that day she tried to get a glimpse of amir...but she couldn't see him she knew that he was aware that she was going to India tonight....but he kept a distance from her...for the last time she didn't wanted to see her...bani cried again...and left with heavy heart thinking of what tomorrow morning will be like in India....

Bani look at the big mansion...last time when she visited india she was very young...cant even remember how their house looked...the houses in india were 100 times bigger than the house they had in England...its not that she complained about it...but she liked that English house because she was born there and grow up....that was real house, her real life...bani took a deep breath now what she thought...

Jai walia one the biggest tycoon in Canada and now in India...he is one of the youngest tycoons...jai moved to canda with his family when he finished...he applied in one of the Canadian's top university to do business...while his rest of family moved there too...his late father worked as manager in a hotel...later on his late parents opened a small coffee shop...the shop proved to be very successful for them from that one small coffee shop they opened a hotel serving mostly Indian food...again it proved very successful...by the time jai finished his studies his parent passed away in horrific accident which changed his entire life...after his parents he was the only hire to their business...billo kumara his only massi since then came to Canada to live with him...about few years ago...after a successful chain hotels jai decide to move to India and open a restaurant...which he did...he opened his restaurant in Mumbai though orignaily he was born in Chandigarh...but for his hotel he needed a house to therefore in England he meet pushkar Sharma who is property developer and bought this house then he and his massi moved here....
Jai walia is in his early thirties now but his massi's only wishes is to get him married a.s.a.p. therefore she always likes to meet new people so that she can like a girl for his boy....

Massi could not take her eyes off bani...she looked beautiful...no there was no word to describe her beauty but this white suit made her look pure innocent...massi felt sorry for her self she was at loss of words...she placed so kajjal below bani's temple to save her from the bad and evil eyes of people...this behaviour of her made the Sharma's suspicious....
Tony served cold drinks since it was very hot...bani picked her glass nerveously...as she took a sip her eyes fell on the stairs a hundsom man wearing his signature suit walked down...looking dashingly handsom...as he reached the last stair their eyes met for brief... bani hated herself for thinking like that as her eyes met his she drowned into them...feeling scared that someone may notice she dropped them down...
Jai couldn't take his own eyes of this angel who sat right opposite him...she just looked so sweet that he felt he was losing all self control....just then massi's voice brought him on earth....
Jai beta aawo...massi stood up and introduced jai to him...jai did namsati to the ladies and shook hands with the guys...he looked at puskar then he realised they have meet before...lastly massi introduced him to bani....

Bani looked down nervously...whereas jai grinned he did namsti to her and bani joint her hand but just smiled accepting his namsti....
They talked for some time then had dinner...bani felt very uncomfortable with massi's motherly effictions and jai's unknown glances at her....she just whished to leave a.s.a.p.
Finally the time was over the sharmas left...
At night massi went to jai's room....

It has been a week that the Sharma's are in india now...bani didn't get familiar with the place they site seeing but nothing seemed interesting to her...she hated everything, she felt neglected being in india...she was dying to go back to England to be with kathi and amir...bani sighed as she sat under the green tree thinking about her life...
Her life has kind of changes since she came to india...will india is a beautiful place...everything is so beautiful in her but why is it that im so distanced from this place thought bani....
Why is it that im not accepting this place, the people in here...why can't i adopt the lifestyle....thought bani....

Today in the afternoon massi came...she actually came to ask for bani's hand for jai....the sharma's was surprised...but it will happen so fast they never thought...their actual aim to came to india was to find a bridegroom for bani....and sent her off to her in laws with honour.....

So thats finally it thought...she knew something was going to happen...but marriage...noooooo she never thought...just thinking of her marriage teras started in her eyes....

Her parents could not stop their tears and sobs whereas bani felt disabled...her entire body stopped functioning from the day she found out that she was going to get married....her normal human body changed to a form of robot...
Pushkar and anita cried cried too...even daksh who always had clash with bani...he couldn't stop his tears...all he did was hug her tight...
He hated himself for doing this to her baby sister but he couldn't help...they had a reputation, they had to save their family honour....
If that boy was a Punjabi like them then it would be fine...but he was a muslim guy and this was never accepted...

Massi couldn't stop crying herself....her only whish finally came true but she wished her late sister and brother were alive to witness this moment of happiness...
Jai couldn't help but remember his parents...he so much wanted them to be there for him...side by side...he needed them today but they weren't there for him today....one thing he was sure that his parents must be seeing him getting married...and wherever they are they must be very happy....

The huge room had only round bed in the middle which was decorated like a bride and on the middle of that beautifully decorated bed was setting a beautiful bride. Looking at his beautiful bride jai as he enter his bedroom...jai was at loss of words to describe her, indeed she is a beautiful creature it seemed like God had created her with his own pen'
Jai closed the door, unlocked it to make sure no one disturb him and his bride'he took a step closer to her yet he felt nervous, he didn't know why'thinking that every man feels like this at his suhag raat he brushed off those feeling and precede towards her'

As soon as the boor clicked bani's heart beat stopped'.her sixth sense warned what was going to happen to her tonight'..every step that he took towards her heart palpitation increased'she knew what was going to happen'but she didn't wanted to happen'.noooo her heart screamed as she felt the bed sunk'.now what she thought?
The closer jai got to her the nervous he felt'.and as his warm hand touched her cold ones...she felt her body shiver...and promptly bani pulled her hand towards her...
Jai feeling bit confused he tried to touch her again...but she did the same thing again....

Bani not understanding looked up to him....their eyes met...then bani looked down....jai sat there for a while observing her beautiful face...and then not getting any answer he stood up walked out of the room...
Leaving shocked and crying bani behind...

Bani woke up early, looking around nothing changed except her, her bedroom...she walked towards the mirror to look at herself....today she looked at a different person...she was married now....her parting was still red...her MS in her neck...will her hair was missed up and so was her makeup...
She went to the bath room to get ready for her new life....

Jai walked into his room which he shared with his wife now...as he entered he couldn't help but look at the view in front of her...bani was getting ready as soon as the door clicked she looked at the door and froze...briefly their eyes met...bani dropping them down jai went to get his suit from the closet and went to get ready...

It hs been a week that they are married now...the holidays were over now and the sharma's left back for UK, but without bani....bani did lost the attachment that she had with her parents she didn't felt anything when they were departing back to UK....
Bani's married life started in very unusual form.... getting up at 7 preparing for breakfast, she and massi did the puja together, at 7:30 jai woke up at 8 he had his breakfast with massi and bani and the around 8: 30 he left for office....
During this one week of married life...jai never entered his bedroom...he sometime slept in study or in guestroom...but never entered his room at nights, except when he came from office and when he went to office...he never crossed bani's path, however, his eyes never let her go for single second, he would not start his breakfast until she was present at the table....
Bani noticed all this...she felt uncomfortable under his constant gaze, nevertheless she felt bad form him...she could give him what he wanted, she never knew if should be able to give him what he wanted...she didn't know what type of person he was...she didn't know what his likes and dislikes were...
She made the effort to ask massi and tony about his daily life and his likes or dislike...she didn't know how to start a conversation with massi....because she spoke Punjabi which was more of English but less Punjabi whereas massi was brought up in a marthi family and she only spoke marthi and hindi and no English...usually they would talk sign language when they didn't understand each other but some time bani would say something in Punjabi mixed with English and massi would not understand....but the only person who could solve their problem was none other than tony...tony and bani spoke in English....

Time fly's so quickly that nobody realises...it was same for bani time for her went so fast that she didn't realise, but for jai time stood still...he hated that in order to spend more time he stood late night in office working, he would return home late so that he can avoid her...initially bani would wait for him...until once after weeks he spoke a word to her....
Tumhe mere intizaa karni ki koi zarorat nahi hai...tum jao sujao...aga kuch chaye huta tu mai tony se manglungi...said jai rather rudely
A lump formed in bani's throught she sowllowed it back...she understood his word...because by now he understood more hindi...she was about to leave when he said
Ainda mere intizar karni ki zarorat nahi hai....
Bani made sure he eats when come late home but never came in front of him...but she was awake every night until he return and ate then slept....

Jai and bai's relationship didn't change at all...everything was still the same...weeks have been passed now...massi doubted their quietness but she kept quiet and observed them...

Feeling a bit scared bani entered her room holding tray of tea...this is the first time that she is entered her bedroom while jai is present there too...
She saw jai laying on the bed with his hand beneath his head and eyes closed...the sound of the door made him open his eyes...he sat as bani brought him the cup of tea...she looked at him....took the cup and left it on the side table...bani was about to walk when he hold his hand....he made her sat opppsite to him...
Bani sat nervously playing with her dupata...not meeting his eye...
Jai left her chin up with his hand...looked tentively at her the moved closer so that his breath blows on her face...
Bani clinched her dupata tightly and felt shivers as his hot breath reached her face...
Jai licked her lips with hers and then forced her to open her mouth...
Bani having no choice she give up to her demandi husband...
One thing lead to another until finally they were flesh to flesh until finally jai was satisfied...he pulled her close to his chest...his body erected again and there was no harm for going for round two....

The new chapter of their life started differently to the previous one...jai was happy, he thought finally he won her...will may be...bani accepted the intimacy as part of her married life...she is always there for him to satisfy him and his hungar...at any opportunity jai never missed the chance to make love to his wife...he spoke to her none stop...he started teaching her hindi but it was more of hindi practical than actually teaching her....bani even slightly opened up to him...most of the time she felt shy when she tried to say a word in hindi or when he made love to her and insisted that lights should be on or bani should open her eyes...
Their time daily life continues in the usual way as always...until one day when they found out bani was pregnant...it was the happiest moment for everyone but most for jai...he could not believe what her heard...his baby was coming...oh my god a flesh of his blood his and bani's creation...he couldn't believe it that actually he was going to be a dad...bani took the new casually, she didn't know whether to be happy or sad...but she know that whatever was inside her was going to be a beautiful thing who will fill her life with colours once he she come out...
Jai give her more attention then usual some time she hated it...but then she started getting used to it it started liking and if jai would miss out on anything then should be upset...she liked all the small things jai did to her...e.g. getting her white lilies everyday on his way to home...because apparently white lilies helped bani with her vomiting...(let's pretend it helps)...those were the staff jai did for her...whereas amir never did anything to her...it was always she liked him...not him...she would sometimes think that maybe she was forcing him into this relationship...
Amir was an experience of love in her life...but bani realised that she cared for jai and her baby more that she cared for amir...amir was just amir...but jai is her husband, her better half, life partner...she liked jai, cared for him...but she didnt love him...she didn't wanted to love him...because she was scared that he might go away if she love him...but she knew that the feelings that she developed for him during her 9 months of pregnancy were more than love, they were beyond love and words to describe it...
She accepted her life she accepted her husband, her destiny and forgave her parents...in fact at the end she was thank full to her parents to get her a partner like jai...
Bani let the past go like flown water and let the present to take over now she is happily married and a mom of twines...KW and AW (i will never forget these two)
In holidays she always goes to UK...with her kids and hubby and massi and tony...
She meet kathi after 2 years...will she was still in uni...she never kept any contact with amir...
