No, Israel attacks are not justified. According to me, Hamas, the Palestinian group, are terrorists and Israel is a War criminal. Both are wrong because both are killing innocent people. They should know that it takes a genius like Gandhi to solve problems using non-violence. Same may not apply to their situation, but I think a solution without violence is always possible.

Hamas should remove their agenda of destroying Israel because this is terrorism and we are not living in Medieval ages.

Israel should stop these attacks and give back the land to Palestine. Israel should also stop killing innocent people.

If some other countries government shoots 70 rockets into my country injuriing 50 citizens of my country. In response I want my govermnet to show other cheek. Follow the perfect Gandhian philosophy😆

I condemn anyone talking/conducting retaliation, the Isrealis against Hamas, Indians against Pakistani group, totally unacceptable, betrayal of our Gandhian principles. We should tell Isreal to put more people in line in the path of these bombs instead of retaliating like this😉

More than 300 innocent lives have been gone wasted..and ur asking a question if its justified?!?! uh NO!

.Even the Jews, their rabbis are objecting what the Israelis are doing!!!!...This is insane, the Israelis are all at fault..more than 300 plus innocent lives?!?!?!.Israeli military is just doing murderous attacks on innocent ppl in Gaza..just plain disgusting!

Whoever supports Israel on this, really needs a reality check. And these pathetic western governments cant open their mouths against Israel!

Yes, like I said that Gandhian philosophy may not apply here. In addition, it looks funny as you put it..

The point was that people should look for other solutions without killing each other. Many countries are living peacefully despite disliking their neighbors and on the other hand, in some parts of the world, we have some medieval people killing civilians. Hamas is of course not an angel party, but neither is Israel.

Look at some unbiased news. I am not sure about US and will check the news. But, India and many western countries like UK, and other countries in Europe have condemned the attacks.

Only biased newspapers will downplay this piece of news and that incorrectly puts western society in bad light. You should try to visit Europe and you will see how friendly that society is towards all religions and people from other countries.

Israel is completely and utterly justified in it's retaliation against Hamas. Moreover, the Indian government's stance of tacit support of Israel is the correct one.
Israel is a tiny nation with a tiny population. Perhaps the members of this forum are unaware of history or the political realities of the Arab world. Israel is nothing more than a lightening rod for all the failures of the Arabs. We harp about 195 being killed in a nation of more than a billion, yet have no solidarity for people getting killed by suicide bombs and rockets in a much smaller nation.
Israel is the front line of the war against democracies. Israelis and Indians share a common history and a common story. We are both nations that have been colonized and ruled by foreigners, our populations dispersed through out the world as slave labor, we have been subjugated and humiliated, and are both nations that share a common interests.
Should Israel fall, the next target is going to be India. I often wish that our emasculated leader showed half the fortitude that Israelis showed. India has been cursed with wretches like Krishna Menon, Nehru, Indira Ghandi, and geriatric patients and drunkards like Manmohan Singh and Vajapayee. I pray that we can also have leader like Ariel Sharon, Golda Meir, and David Ben-Gurion. Leaders that are willing to protect their people at any cost!
Perhaps our ghandian iodicy has made us acclimate to constant humiliation. Our people are killed in Temples, in railway stations, Hotels, markets, and in cafes, and we offer the other cheek. Indians are humiliated in places like Eurpoe, the UK, even Africa, and we sit and take it. I say cheers to the Israelis, and I pray for their success.

after reading all above posts here i thought to search abut hamas ....

wat hamas is and why isreal attacked only hamas...why it wanna destroy hamas only?....
so i found something abut hamas here.........after reading abut hamas on various sites i realised dat hamas is a terriost organisation......
one of the site dedscribing abut hamas is......
hamas:
Islamic terrorist group founded in 1987 Received funding from Saddam Hussein Receives funding from Iran
  • Responsible for many suicide bombings and terrorist acts against Israeli targets

Hamas (an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawamat al-Islamiyya, or "Islamic Resistance Movement") is a radical fundamentalist group founded on December 14, 1987 by the Muslim Brotherhood. ( Hamas describes itself as "one of the wings of the Muslim Brother[hood].") As a single Arabic word rather than an acronym, "Hamas" means "zeal." Its avowed purpose is "liberating Palestine" from the Jew "oppressors," whose presence in the Middle East it considers an affront to Muslims' rightful sovereignty in the land of the Prophet Mohammad. The organization's individual co-founders were Ahmed Yassin and Abdel Aziz al Rantisi.

With tens of thousands of loyal supporters, Hamas' strength is concentrated principally in the Gaza Strip and a few areas of the West Bank. The group's leadership is dispersed throughout these same areas, with a few senior leaders residing in Syria, Lebanon, and the Gulf States. Hamas receives some funding from Iran but is supported primarily by donations from Palestinian expatriates around the world and private benefactors in Arab nations. Some clandestine fundraising takes place in Western Europe and North America as well. When the United Nations Oil-For-Food program was in effect, Saddam Hussein skimmed more than $21 billion from its coffers and sent some of it it directly to Hamas.

Hamas has a close working relationship with Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based terror organization that is one of Hamas' major suppliers of weaponry. Hamas is best known for using violent methods -- including suicide bombings against Israeli military and civilian targets -- to destroy Israel and replace it with an Islamic Palestinian state.

The Hamas Charter, written in 1988, puts forth "The Slogan of the Hamas," which reads as follows: "Allah is its goal, the Prophet its model, the Qur'an its Constitution, Jihad its path, and death for the case of Allah its most sublime belief." The Charter says that jihad, or holy war, "becomes an individual duty binding on every Muslim man and woman; a woman must go out and fight the enemy even without her husband's authorization, and a slave without his masters' permission."

The Hamas Charter explicitly abjures negotiated settlements as mechanisms for peaceful coexistence: "There is no other solution for the Palestinian problem other than jihad. All the initiatives and international conferences are a waste of time and a futile game." According to the Charter, those against whom jihad is to be directed are the Jews. "The Nazism of the Jews," it says, "does not skip women and children, it scares everyone. They make war against people's livelihood, plunder their moneys and threaten their honor." Hamas seeks to fulfill the Qur'anic scripture which reads: "The prophet, prayer and peace be upon him, said: The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!" To view additional quotes from the Hamas Charter,

Also in August 2005, Mahmoud al Zahar, the most senior Hamas member in Gaza, said the following about Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip:
"We do not and will not recognize a state called Israel. Israel has no right to any inch of Palestinian land. This is an important issue. Our position stems from our religious convictions. This is a holy land. It is not the property of the Palestinians or the Arabs. This land is the property of all Muslims in all parts of the world." "Let Israel die."
  • "We will enter the settlements and sully the dignity of Israel with our feet. We will stand on the ruins of the Israeli settlements and tell our people we have prevailed."
for more details visit above link...
dese hamas ppl looks like completly brainwashed ....dey r just trained to kill isreal ppl...........................................
now i will search abut isreal.........
elder ppl says dat firstly hear and see both sides view den come to any conclusion......😉
