Both sisters, Nirmal and Kranti are shown praying to God.
Nirmal:
1. She knows her husband is childlike. He doesn't seem to know how to make a living or how to spend wisely.
2. She is at her wits end when she realises that he has bust up all the money on her b'day.
3. Out of frustration she yells and tells him that no one can live on just love and fresh air.
4. She prays that God teach him how to live a life. She is full of tears and worry.
Kranti:
1. She is praying to God to bless the KK movement.
2. She wants her country to be free and hopes He will steer them to victory.
3. The elders are aghast at seeing her in the puja room. So she offers them the aarti which they cant refuse. Ice has not been broken yet.
4. She joins the protests in the city. Good for her !
