Chandra's brother, Selva comes to Chandra's house and is met by the lady who looks after Meena. The lady tells Selvanot to come to the house again because only thetwo of them know Meena's whereabouts. She dos not want anything to happen to Meena as she will be in touble. Chandra comesdown the stairs and sees both of them talking and calls them. She sees a bandage on her brother's forehead and asks what happened. Selva tells her he bumped his head and it is nothing. Before the lady could say anything to Chandra, Selva tells her to take care of Meena and gives her some money and tells her to leave. Meena too tells the lady to take care of Meena and to see that nothing happens toher as they have to return Meena to Ranjini. She then tells her brother that no matter what Meena should not see their faces and for him to becareful.

Ranjini and Karthik go to Sangeetha's house and ask Sangeetha to call Uma. Sangeetha calls Uma out and Ranjini tells her about Meena's kidnapping. Uma is very happy to hear this news and tells Ranjini so. Ranjini asks if Uma knows about Arun's friends who could have done this. Uma continues to insult Ranjini and her sister. Ranjini gets angry and slaps Uma. Uma tells Ranjini to go and look for her sister. When Ranjini again asks , Uma tells her she will only tell when Meena's dead body arrives and Ranjini is in jail. Ranjini tells Uma that she will find out without Uma's help and leaves.

Ranjini and Kartik then go to Arun's house and see that someone else is living there. The call out and a lady comes out and Ranjini asks about Arun. The lady refuse to answer at first but after Ranjini tells her about Arun being a drug dealer, she tells them that they are the new tenant. She also tells them that someone saying he is Arun's brother came and took some stuff and left. Ranjini and Karthik leave disappointed.

Unknown to Ranjini and Karthik, two men are following them. The get out and see Ranjini leave. They then go to Devan's house and discuss about Ranjini. One of the men tell Devan that Ranjini's sister has been kidnapped and Ranjini suspects they have done it. Devan wants to know who else is Ranjini's enemy and who has kidnapped her sister. They want to bring Meena to them and move towards Ranjini.

Ranjini and Karthi finally go to Chandra's house and Chandra is very happy to see her. Ranjini tells Chandra that Meena has been kidnapped. Chandra is shocked and asks if Ranjini is sure. Ranjini says yeas and looks at Chandra's expression. THODARUM.

Oct 7 (Tues):

Some guys are beating up a man saying how dared he opposed their brother. Someone comes there and asks to see Sir and is asked to go in. The man goes in and is worried. Devan comes down and the man tells him about Devan's man who has taken over his land and is giving him trouble. Devan tells him if there is trouble, to leave. The man says it is his family property. Devan says if the man sells the property himself, he will get the market price but if he refuses, then he will have to face the consequences. One on the man comes in and says the man they were beating up died. The property owner gets scared and decides to give the property to Devan. Devan's assistant comes in and tells Devan that Chandra's brother kidnapped Ranjini's brother. He wants them to find out if Selva kidnapped Meena on his own or with Chandra's knowledge. He also wants Meena to br brought to him.

The lady taking care of Meena, takes her out forcibly saying she will take Meena to her sister. The other bald guy is going after them. After running for while, they see the mad man coming towards them with a rock. They run again. The mad man run to Selva who is waiting in his car with a gun and gives the gun to the man. The man runs after Meena and aims to shoot the ladies. He shoots the lady and she falls. The man come towads Meena and Meena runs away. The mad man goes near the lady and then looks at Meena who is running away.

Ranjini goes to Chandra's house and asks why she was asked to come. She asks if Ranjini went to court but Ranjini says she did not. She tells Ranjini that she received a call from her sister. She tells Chandra that Meena's kidnappers had allowed Meena to call and confuse her so that she would not be able to go to Court. And because she did not go to court the second time, a warrant had been issued to arrest her. Chandra tells her not to worry about the warrant as he would take care of it. Ranjini says she is not worried about herself but she has failed in her search for her sister. Chandra tells Ranjini to go into the room as a surprise is waiting for her. Ranjini goes in and is surprised to see Meena. Meena tells her how she was kidnapped and how she was saved by Chandra. Meena tells Ranjini if Chandra did not come there, she would not be alive. Ranjini wants to report to the Police Commissioner so that they would be able to find the kidnapper and it could even be connected to the drug dealers. If it was connected, it would help her case. Meena refuses to to go back. Chandra tells Ranjini that Meena is traumatized and it is better they forget about the whole thing. She asks Ranjini to take Meena home and rest. Both Meena and Ranjini go home. Chandra talks to herself that she will make Ranjini come to her at any cost. Devan talks to his men and they discuss about the connection between Ranjini and Chandramathi. Devan is confused why Chandra is giving trouble to Ranjini but turn around and helps her. He wants his men to follow them and find out.

Police arrive at Ranjini's house and tells them they are there to arrest Ranjini. Ranjini's mother and siblings are shocked. Police inspector gives her the court order and asks Ranjini to follow them. Her family tries to stop them but Ranjini follows the police. Karthik wants to meet their lawyer but Police Inspector tells them to see them in court. Ranjini is taken away in a police jeep to the station. Saradha faints. Ranjini is drivin in a police jeep. THODARUM.

Karthik rushes to Sangeetha's house and calls for her. Uma is sitting int he living and Karthik asks where her mother is. Uma tells Karthik that Sangeetha is inside. Karthik calls again and Sangeetha comes out and asks what happened. Karthik tells her that Ranjini has been arrested and taken to jail and that he is afraid. Sangeetha tells him not to worry as they will get a good lawyer to fight her case. Sangeetha leaves and Uma asks why the hurry. Sangeetha tells her about going to help Ranjini. Uma says this is the begining and there is more to come.

Ranjini is taken to jail and the warden tells her as she is under investigation, she is given a special cell and if she is found guilty and sentenced, she will have to be in the cell with the other inmates and leaves. Another office asks why Ranjini is there and Ranjini tells her that it is her fate.

Karthik and Sangeetha sees a lawyer (Chandra's jalra) and tells him about Ranjini's case. The lawyer asks them how they know Arun is a smuggler. Karthik tells him that when Ranjini was investigating a drug smuggling case in Hyderabad, she was shown a laptop with Arun's picture. The lawyer says that is not proof enough as Ranjini was also told by other. He tells them there is no hope in this case. Karthik gets angry and shouts at the lawyer and the lawyer gets angry and tells them to go. Sangeetha and Karthik leave the office.

Chandra is in her car and she is talking to someone about some MLA. She then talks to a man who tells her that the lawyer had told Ranjini that he cannot help her. He tells her that no lawyer will take Ranjini's case as his boss is very powerful. Hearing this, Chandra gets upset and the man apologizes. The man tells Chandra that his boss has asked him to keep an eye on Ranjini's case. He also asks Chandra why she is so interested in Ranjini's case but Chandra signals for her driver to stop. The man looks at Chandra and gets down. Chandra drives off.

Saradha is in her house crying. Karthik tells his mother not to worry as Ranjini will be ok and asks her to drink some coffee. Sarada refuses but Karthik tells her to drink coffee. Rajagopal enters saying he can't even show his face outside as people are laughing at him. He then asks what Karthik is serving his mother. He tells Saradha to cook some puri and potatoes for him. Karthik scolds his father that he is only interested in eating and does not care about the family. When they are talking, the house owner comes in and asks them when they are vacating. Karthik asks why they should vacate, when they have been paying rent on time. House owner tells them that he only wants to rent his house to good people and wants them to leave in 15 days and leaves. Rajagopal tells them all this is because of Ranjini. Kathik tells his father off and leaves. Rajagopal tells his father to make some soup for him.

Sangeetha goes home to find the lawyer and she is happy to see him. Tells him she would have gone to his office to see him. She tells the lawyer that she is very grateful to see him there and tells him about how Ranjini helped Uma from getting married to Arun. The lawyer just smiles. Uma comes and ask the lawyer how he is. Lawyer tells Sangeetha that he wants to speak with Uma privately. Sangeetha tells the lawyer to ask Uma about Arum and leaves. Uma and Lawyer talk for a long time (muted dialog). Lawyer takes notes and after a few hours Uma goes inside. Sangeetha comes out and asks lawyer if Uma told anything and lawyer says she had told more than the truth. He tells Sangeetha that he will be appearing for Uma and not Ranjini. He also tells Sangeetha that no lawyer will win the case against her and leaves. Uma comes out with a cup of coffee and teases her mother saying that truth has come to her. Sangeetha tells Uma that Uma is not old enough to know anything. Uma laughs and says that the great lawyer Shakaraling whom her mother wanter to fight Ranjini's case is now on her side and tells her mother that she has already half way to victory and goes in. THODARUM.

friday update 10.10.2008

karthik and sanggetha comes to see ranjani in jail. sanggetha is crying and feel sad seing ranjani like this. ranjani ask her not to worry and she will be out soon. ranjani ask sanggetha about appointing lawyer. sanggetha say she saw the best lawyer but he dont want to take the case. ranjani ask why he does not want. she is confused too. karthik cries. ranjani advice him to be strong because he need to take care of the family now.

meena ask bus fair from karthik. he gives her and tells her not to tell amma about her going to college by bus. meena says okay. karthik ask her be carefull. meena says she want ranjani to be out. karthik promise her that ranjani will come out soon. meena wants to follow karthik to see ranjani but he ask her not now. to focus on her studies first because exam is soon.

karthik goes to sanggetha house. uma sitting there. karthik scold her for doing all this to ranjani. he tells her that ranjani will come out from this case and uma is going to lose.

karthik and his mother goes and sees ranjani. mother cries on ranjani faith. ranjani ask mother not to cry and to be strong. everything will be fine soon. thodarum

Jail warden goes to Ranjini and asks her if she has appointed a lawyer to fight her case. Ranjini says no and warden tells her that it is important to hire a good lawyer to fight for her otherwise she will not win the case and will be indicted and sent to jail. She asks Ranjini to think about it as it is her life and leaves.

Uma and Paati talking in the living. Paati tells Uma about Sangeetha getting ready to go to court as Ranjini's case will be heard that day. Uma is waiting to 'bless' her mother before going to court. Sangeetha Comes out and tells her mother about how she has so many colorful clothes and she is no longer wearing them and wants to donate it. Sangeetha tells Uma to give it away to some charity organization. Uma wants to give it all to Ranjini so that Ranjini can wear them for the short time she is in remand as she will soon be sent to jail for life and will no longer be able to wear nice clothing as she will have to wear only inmate uniform. She also asks Sangeetha to get some good food for Ranjini when she meets her. Sangeetha slaps Uma real hard and tells her to shut up and leaves.

Chandra, her brother selva and mother are in the living. Mother asks Chandra if Ranjini has agreed to her help. Chandra says Ranjini is still refusing help but she will make sure Ranjini falls at her feet soon. Selva tells them that Ranjini's case will be heard in court that day. Mother wants to know if Ranjini will be allowed bail but Chandra tells her no way as she has made sure no lawyer will appear on her behalf.

Ranjini is brought before the judge and Uma's lawyer gives the case file to the judge. Judge asks Ranjini is she has a lawyer to appear on her behalf and Ranjini says no. Just then, Manoj's uncle (Mauli) comes in saying he is appearing on Ranjini's behalf and asks permission to be allowed to defend Ranjini. Everyone is surprised, especially Uma and her lawyer. Manoj whispers to Ranjini that the lawyer is his uncle. Uma's lawyer objects but judge permits. Ranjini's lawyer asks the judge to tell Uma to get into the witness box but is opposed by her lawyer. Defence lawyer says all witnesses should answer any questions from the box and there should be no exception. Judge tells Uma to get into the box and is sworn in.

Uma's lawyer asks about Arun and she tells that Arun was her groom whom Ranjini killed - this is objected by defence lawyer. Defence lawyer then asks Uma where she lives and Uma says she lives under her grandmother's care in her mother's hosue. He asks her about Arun's parents and Uma says she does not know anything about them. She only knows that Arun is a nice and caring person who loved her very much. He then asks her why they did not get married at the registrar's office to avoid problems. Uma says she did not want to disgrace her family. Defence lawyer then asks why she is not living in Arun's house. Uma keeps quiet and her lawyer objects saying Uma is not saddened by the death of her husband. Defence lawyer objects saying Uma is not married and cannot say she is Arun's wife. He finally asks the judge to grant bail to Ranjini but Uma's lawyer objects saying that Ranjini failed to appear in court twice before and only appeared now because she was arrested. Judge thinks. THODARUM.

Thursday Kalasm Update: Episode 65

"Something fishy with this Manoj Grandpa"

The court case is still continuing and its the battle of who will win Ranjini or Uma. Both Lawyer are still on argument and nooone has still come to a finish. Uma lawyer askes for no bail to Rajini as she hasn't come to couple of court cases and at the same time Shot arjun for on saftey and sit down. Ranjini lawyer jumps from his seat and objects to all his nonsense. He says " Why would Rajini not come to 2 days of court hearing....its probabley because of her enemies kidnapping her... at the same time how can she come when are sister is arrested and the police was called to identify who her sister was...with all this happening how would she arrive to the court". Uma lawyer gets up and shouting that no true but Rajini lawyer says " its not then true why then why would have stopped from not coming to the court ... maybe its because of the her Enimies plan......considering all this at the the fake policeman who put charge on her.....ranjini doesn't need all this punishment...she wanted to prove that Arun was not a right person and that he was criminal........There fore Rajini("here people you poeple have to watch lawyer was about blurt something😕" When Lawyer says Ranijini name he points towards her with one finger in a angerly way and then continues😕)Rajini looks puzlled ........should be granted bail".The judge granted bail for only if she pays 5000rps according the rule. Ranjini's dad jumps screaming not put that much and put only 100😡😡😡(ok come down boy before i come slap you😡) ...........Scene shifts to Chandra house and she slappes her henchmen after hearing that she got bail....she freaks out more after hearing about the 5000rps that somebody that paid for already. Chandramathi screams in anger that she lost a victim that is was supposed to run for help...she tells her men to go find out what she got bail and all the money and he leaves. Chandramthi stands in anger and confusion folding her hand(omg She should have seen the sari selection everyone she looked like Orange Fruit🥱🥱🤣)

Uma comes home in anger while her patti is waiting for what she says. Uma charges into her room and sits on her bed while her patti is asking what happened. Uma says that Ranjini got bail. Patti does nonsense talk. At the moment Sangee comes with sweet and giving it to Uma and her patti😆😆😆 them as in return what Uma did to Rajini. Sangee says that Ranjini cannot be stopped by anyone and tells the silent patti next time teacher to be nice and leaves. Patti standing puzzled giving a innocent looks trying to be nice😆 is stopped by Uma who tells i wonder why you were silent all this time . Uma is sitting down in anger.....Scene shifits to Manoj house. Manoj is all happy that Ranjini is out from jail and that he himselft says that he loves Rajini to his uncle;Ranjini uncle. Ranjini doesn't look suprised as he knew that he was going say that. At that time Rajini come to their with her brother to thank him. Ranjini thanks him for paying that 5000rp and that she will pay him back.... and that is when she get her job back with all the remaing money he will pay him back.. Rajini is determined that she will catch the criminal that sent her beind her bar...but Manoj's uncle says that " God wont come and help you"(some thing fishy is with this uncle gosh this guy is mistery😕). Rajini looks puzzled is determined she will win and leaves thanking him. After they leaves Manoj gets too happy and thanks his uncle to much and the he like her and leaves. Manoj still sitting eating his paku says while a mysterious background music sound on " your wish will not happen and that i will not let them happen"(ok folks this is getting freakky this guys is up to something hope that what ever does it doesn't harm Ranjini again😕)

Rajini goes home and mother welcomes her in with a alathi😳. Rajini dad does his crap talk again (omg this guy is goign past the limit my blood pressure is soon going to raise because of him😡). He is talkign a house owner comes screamign that they didn't pay their fee and to immediately vacat the house....Ranjini looks shocked what she heard..............thodurm
