Realistically speaking, kids aren't as brave and have such strength of convictions as Sumonto is @ the age of 5, they are innocent, likely to get scared easily and are very vulnerable And no Opti, all the children don't know how to stick up for their siblings... I don't think I did!!! And that is also a part of right and wrong!!!
Infact I could turn around and interpret his actions in a positive way by saying he was "honest"... Bt thats besides the point, I seriously feel its unfair your calling him a "traitor" because of this one action... Plz don't call him that... I know I am overreacting but that statement did not go well with me!!!

Met, I understand completely what you are saying. He is only a kid. If Sumonto did that, I am sure different things would be said about him.

Sonia, I would still stick by what I said. Maybe I think that kids stick up for their simblings because I used to stick up for mine, being the elder of the two. Here too Suproteek is the elder one. Anyway, that is my assessment which may be at variance with yours. I think we need to agree to disagree here.

Fine, dear. I will stick to what I said!!! But I want to clarify something, you know the possibility of what your saying is very much likely, I too will not defend Suprateek if he becomes a really mean kid!!! (I have seen one in Desperate Housewives who was extremely manipulative but she had her reasons) but I feel @ this point its unfair to brand him a traitor, maybe a coward... although I wouldn't call him that either....

And abt kids sticking up for their siblings... hee I guess it varies in different families... coz my family is the total opposite... my sister and bro used to fight a lot when they were young (with an age gap of a year).... now they're the best of friends... but @ that tender age they never understood the concept of loyalty, duty etc.... ditto me and my cousin bro....

I too am loosing my connection with this serial.
The only thing that is worth watching in this track is little Sumantho. They need to increase his screen space and reduce everybody else's interactions....until Milsi's appearance.

I have kind of stopped watching it from a long time. Earlier when Mallika was around, I used to watch only Milind/Prachi or Michi scenes now I just watch Sumonto scenes or Milsi's flashbacks.
It's all far from convincing.

Please enlighten me, when did Prateek become a traitor??? Or are you talking about the future, where he most likely will turn negative!!!

My preferred scenario is Proteek dies some way, and Prachi and Milind take care of both the kids....something similar happened in KZK with Shravan... Bt am sure if KYM were to take a 20 yr leap, and MICHI had a female kid... and Proteek was still alive, albiet negative, than Suprateek and the female kid would be paired up!!! Ok am gonna stop going off on a tangent now!!! 😆

Opti i too think its harsh to say that Suprateek is a traitor. He was scared...and a kid...and not all kids have the kind of attitude to stand up to adults. Some kids i know will talk back even at the age of 3 or 4 but others are scared of adults. No need to call Suprateek a traitor for that.

And how much older than Sumonto is Suprateek...maybe a year and a half. Just because Sumonto is a certain way doesn't mean Suprateek also has to be.
But in the future maybe they'll develop hate in his heart towards Prachi and Sumonto...but since i haven't watched the epi..but i am still sure he pointed to Sumonto out of fear...which is natural.

Ditto. Hope we see more of Sumonto...he is the only saving grace of this kitchen politics drama.
I can't believe they got rid of the previous essemble for this new family...😕 there is no sort of rapport nor nothing..this new family does not gel together. Something is missing.
