He is an actor, director and now a producer, Aamir Khan has donned various roles, and he has been successful in all. Times Now correspondent Tamanna Inaamdar caught up with him at Hyderabad where he was shooting for his forthcoming film 'Gajani' which Amir assured was a very different from his last movie 'Taare Zameen Par'. A candid Amir spoke about love, life and films of course.
Tamanna: How do you maintain your hairstyle?
Amir: I have to buzz it everyday.
Tamanna: You do it yourself?
Amir: No, I can't. My make up man shaves the bald lines to keep it clean.
Tamanna: After 'Taare Zameen Par' people are really looking forward to what's going to come up from you as an actor?
Amir: Well it's quite different from 'Taare Zameen Par'. It's an action thriller and essentially a revenge story.
Tamanna: 'Jaane Tu' is instigating a lot of comments about you and Imran. What is the kind of advice that you are giving him right now?
Amir: None whatsoever.
Tamanna: Does it take you back to Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (QSQT) days at all?
Amir: When I think about it, it does. I remember, that at that time Mr Pathak the PRO for QSQT had a hard time trying to get journalist to do interviews with Juhi and me. We did do a couple of interviews before the release, which did not get printed. So those were different times.
Tamanna: Blogging is the latest rage swiping Bollywood. You have been the pioneer in it, haven't you?
Amir: It has been a year since I have been blogging. It's a great way to connect with your audience and your fans.
Tamanna: Kiran has been an integral part of all your big movies, what has been her role?
Amir: Yes, since 'Taare Zameen Par' and since we have been married she has always been there. We are really close and are partners in every sense.
Tamanna: There have been a couple of controversies that you have been related to recently. Perhaps a media created run in with Mr Bachchan over Black or the run in with Shahrukh over your blog. One does not expect that to come from Amir Khan. What do you have to say about it?
Amir: Well the blog I wrote on Shahrukh was all in good humour and that's how Shahrukh took it. I am glad that we have such kind of a relation where I am comfortable joking about him and he feels comfortable to joke about me in public and I have the highest regards for Mr Bachchan.
