First of all, if you favored a family, you should have voted for them so that they could have won. With the voting, the results prove that the majority of the viewers preferred the Roy family and so they made sure to vote for them, so they won. I dont think they didnt deserve to win. IMHO, they did great performances many times and also scored total points in the normal rounds and bonus rounds several times. They were criticized mainly because they used to give extraordinary performances at times and then they didnt keep to that level the week after. If they had kept their performances within the same level as other families, they wouldnt have faced that criticism.
If the judges chose the final winner, Raja or Poonam would have won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge last year! It is very clear that the judges have no say in the final round - which is how all these TV competitions are around the world, and it has been like that for decades outside India - look at "American Idol" for example.
The Saxenas are professional dancers! And yet they used to do bad in between, not steady throughout. I didnt feel any of the dadis could dance! All of them were quite stiff and bulky. In some of them, Roy dadi did well too though not as great as Roy himself. His wife could dance too, though she was shy in the beginning but as weeks passed, she too picked up and dropped her reluctance and moved steps with others.
Above all, in my heart, I believe Roy family was the only family who had voted for the Kapoor family in the wild card round. They received only one vote, and that was the honest one. I thought in my mind that day, that whoever was honest there would be the real winner at the end. Others voted for Ubale family in fear of losing to them in the finale as they were so good, and so didnt deserve to win anyway!! This is just my opinion, like you all had said yours!
