Yes and forget Tulsi Karan even Karan Mandira relation was nicely shown.
Karan Mandira scenes (original not Achint Kaur waala) really seemed like it's between a mother and child, despite all plotting and planning or deception still their bond didn't feel artificial. It did look like Mandira is using Karan but at the same time deeply loved him while Karan feels his mother is his entire life (somehow like Niyati is for Rio). But right now neither than Karan Mandira relationship vibes can be found in Rio Niyati nor Karan Tulsi in Parth Nandani. I don't know the reason because Sky, Gauri and Parakh are good actors and even Parth actor is doing good since he has started getting exposure.
Exactly. We had an organic buildup of the interpersonal relationships between all major characters regardless of what their equation was supposed to be so we could buy the kind of friction between Karan and Gautam, the love between Karan and Saahil regardless of the circumstances and the effortless ease as well as mutual respect and understanding between Karan and Ganga. Heck, we saw why Tanya would fall head over heels in love with Karan though she was introduced as a pawn by Ansh.
The work that was put into each of these characters and their organic relationship and chemistry with others helped us root for or against them. We loved or hated them as characters but regardless of what we felt, we loved watching them onscreen and couldn’t imagine anyone else as these characters. They all felt like the perfect match for the part they played regardless of the shade. Now, you can practically replace any of the new actors with someone else and I guarantee no one will care or feel any sort of weirdness.
Parth was here since day one, KN were kept away from the show mostly beyond cameos for the first year almost. We never even had random scenes where it was shown that he was at least on a call with either of his parents or siblings, even if we only heard and saw his side of the conversation. Then as KN became series regulars too in the past few months, it’s only now that he’s getting one on one scenes with Nandini. Rather, this was their first scene together where they were interacting with each other when he told Nandini he wanted to propose. So when yesterday he was crying about someone understanding and caring for his mom, when he was trying to convey his own anger, helplessness and frustration over her past, it was so hard to feel invested. Nandini’s past was exposed nearly 2 weeks ago but we didn’t get a single scene about the impact of the news on Parth until yesterday when we are supposed to see the floodgates open. The writers are in such a rush that they seem to have forgotten the basics of the process itself - establish what you want your audience to feel invested in. The reason why Ansh terrifies us even now is because they took the time to establish his obsession and his absolute madness; Nandini’s trauma was not told but shown to us. We lived through the journey of watching him become more and more dangerous while her getting trapped and finally suffering what we feared. Here they needed to simply establish a mother son bond but they didn’t even do that little by showing bits and pieces but suddenly we are supposed to see Nandini the tigress defending her cub while he cries for mom.
Now that karan is back , the hug between karan-nandini was pure magic and beautiful. Nandini is doing a great job calling them out . Poor karan was always burdened by a sense of obligation and never stood up for himself.
Tulsi ne sab faltu giri kari, gyan de diya, did she tell Vaishnvi that Parth has actually arranged for her Birthday at SN and wanted to propose her officially??
Forget that Tulsi talked to both Vaishnavi and Parth like they are friends.
She told Vaishnavi wo tumhaara dost hai and all, while Parth had already told her that he loves her
Tulsi ne sab faltu giri kari, gyan de diya, did she tell Vaishnvi that Parth has actually arranged for her Birthday at SN and wanted to propose her officially??
No, maybe because she didn’t want to ruin the idea of a surprise considering so much was already ruined. Also, Parth has already made his intentions clear when he argued with Vaishnavi earlier and said I’m your husband to-be and want you to stick by my side when she congratulates Rio on getting the POA. So it’s not like she doesn’t know and isn’t onboard because she didn’t get all charged up when Parth said that. So the when is a surprise not the what. Tulsi doesn’t know that part but she wanted to salvage what she could for her grandson.
