The plot was trash and yeah pooja was all of this ..trying to be the puppet master while acting the victim..but Rohan was the worst. Who falls in love with letters alone ? He loved the letters or the girl? 2 losers joined by 2 more losers.
Kareena playing Tina made it worse.. hamming all the way , her acting was terrible in this one and sooraj barjatya movie with hritik..
Yeah sajan was bakwas too.mjk was direct inspiration....again the same question, she fell in love with the person or the shayari? How shallow of her to walk away with Sanjay after singing dancing n almost getting engaged with salman ? But that movie still had better actors & songs ..screenplay was also good ..
Thank you so much. I hated pooja so much, more than any other female lead except Kashish from the TV show Kahin toh hoga and Elena from TVD, Pooja is just next to that shitty, gaslighting, cheating, liar piece of sh*t.
I don't even blame Raj much till he he last 40 minutes of the movie, he had the grudge on both liars Tina and Pooja, like none of them cared enough about his feelings to tell him the truth? Tina actually didn't tell him the truth even after she had multiple occasions, I mean she knew his love for her was rooted from his childhood letters. So no she's not the saint either.
Pooja on the other hand was the creep, who goes to meet her friend's fiancee in London and does exactly the things he wrote in the letters just to confuse him and make him realize that they did a girl swap over night while he was catching a flight?
Raj is a loser because he involved Rohan to show Pooja that it's not possible to marry someone based on lies, he could not deal with his toxic lying girlfriend so he used an innocent man to play a game.
Tina should have told Raj the truth the day his family fixed the marriage, but she didn't because she knew Raj would retaliate. You don't build pyramids on lies. Pooja should have been dumped by both Raj and Rohan tbh, Raj should've married Tina and i believe if a sequel ever comes he'll agree that he made a mistake by marrying Pooja.
And I just realized Uday Hrithik has more scenes together in this movie than they had in Dhoom 2, don't know a random realization.

such a chaloo she was
buhat savatri ban ban ke rohit ko full apni taraf kar lia london ke trip pe..and when she started humming that song in church..which gave the truth away..yeah we believe it was a mistake..such a challoo..
Her jealousy and insecurity towards terrific tina could not be so obvious..good for her..she got an equally lame guy for herself..hope tina found someone much better..she didn't deserve these losers anyway
She was extremely manipulative, she victim blamed him for not catching her catfishing then directed his anger towards Tina by playing ugly duckling card

Similarly Saajan too didn't make sense at all...For the whole movie Madhuri was in love with Salman...She goes around singing songs and dating him and falls more and more in love with his character and what not...But all of a sudden in the end she comes to know that it was Sanjay who wrote those poems and shifts her love to him....
thats such a silly storyline, finding out that someone has written a poem/letter completely changes your feelings? how ridiculous
raj and tina were full on flirting with each other, talking about love with each other, singing a whole song about love, even their families noticed how much they liked each other and wanted them to get married, and raj forgot all of that over letters? If i was raj i would be so angry at pooja for being such a liar! Its a full on catfish, it is deception, what gave her the right to do that. But instead this silly movie tried to romanticise this nonsense.
Pooja hanging out with raj in london, what a manipulative women she is, each moment dropping him hints that she is the one who wrote the letters, and then humming that song in the church, what a horrible person. she knows tina and raj like each other yet she did all of that, the truth is she never wanted raj and tina to be together but still wanted to be seen as this innocent girl, such a toxic character
Tina even held that guilt for lying and eventually told raj that she didn't write the letters, even though it was pooja who told her to lie, and tina didn't even tell raj that it was pooja who told her to lie about it, thats how much of a good friend tina was.
Agree, agree, agree that Pooja was completely in the wrong 100%.
But, I don't agree that Raj and Pooja couldn't have fallen in love through letters. They had been talking for years, so those conversations might have meant far more than just days of meeting Tina in person.
Whenever this topic comes up, people say Raj chose Tina only because of her looks and ignored Pooja because he didn't find her attractive. But I don't think that's what happened. Raj went to Tina because she looked like the Tina he remembered from childhood. A person's childhood and adult face usually doesn't change so drastically that you'd assume they're someone else entirely. From his perspective, Tina was simply the person he believed he had been writing to all those years.
What felt unrealistic was that he didn't realize sooner when Tina didn't understand their shared references. But even that is somewhat understandable because Raj never imagined he could have been talking to someone other than Tina. And whenever he tried to bring up those conversations, Tina brushed it aside instead of reacting with, "What are you talking about? I never wrote to you."
And yeah, Pooja had no right to keep lying just because Raj approached Tina first. Raj wasn't rejecting Pooja in favor of looks; he genuinely believed Tina was the same person he had known and written to for years.
Whenever Mujhse Dosti Karoge topic comes, I can never ignore it, I don't know why.
Eventhough, I ignore literally every other topics. And this topic comes every year.
I blame Raj a lot too for his many actions. But, one thing always triggered me, people pointing out Raj walking past Pooja and going to Tina when they first met in their adulthood. I always wanna defend Raj, ofcourse he would because he knows her childhood face.

Mujhse dosti karoge atleast makes sense because they were having full on conversations with each other on chat. But this!!
Loving someone's poems means being fan of their works. She didn't know him personally at all. Makes sense she dislikes both of them for lying to her and can't love Salman anymore. But, how can she start loving Sanjay suddenly?! Except writing poems and lying to her, what has he done different ! Weird ending.

Brother swap wasn't common in 90s but here they actually showed it ..
At this point Main Prem ki diwani hu made more sense than Sajaan but Sajaan album is classic.
I think BW's best love triangle has to be Dhadkan undoubtedly. Everything made sense at the end, Dev was a loser and Anjali in here always made the right call.
