As ek paheli said the show was based on devdas and anupre couldn't unite. Even that title song is imtehan har Ghari ki so no peace for lovebirds

I was thinking if Bajaj was exposed and anurag didn't marry anyone else kya hota. I think kind of like kitni mohabbat hai. Prerna leaving everything going to new city and building her career, where she meets a new guy definitely played by hiten. Then anurag comes and they unite. In between some drama sone jealousy and prerna dropping truth bombs

And maybe after that bajaj returning again but this time good guy so a good friend of Anurag prerna. And then obviously a gen leap would come where Anurag prerna separated, and either bajaj with prerna in usa or he friends with anurag who married some lady. And then same drama where prerna side of adopted kid falls for someone in anurags family and they unite blah blah

KZK wasn’t inspired by devdas. Initially it was a normal love story. It was later she made it into star crossed lovers love story with slight devdas touch. Anyways she’s obsessed with devdas till this day. That’s why she kept playing its music in Kyunki2 first and now has been playing it in naagin nonstop. She’s also obsessed with Dharundhar too so keeps playing that movie songs in the show. And what’s that Mahabharat music that she keeps playing for Radhika and Ananta??

The issue is that Ekta never wanted Prerna to be explored as a single woman hence why she never exposed Bajaj and even when he ended up cheating on Prerna all was fine in La-La Land. Had Ekta had the guts to explore the possibility of what the world is like for a single woman relying solely on herself and her birth family to raise her child then Bajaj would’ve been exposed and even if he had been retained on the show he need not necessarily have been paired with Prerna again. His arc could have been either about repentance, trying to get Prerna back but failing repeatedly or he could have simply been paired off with another character. He could have also eventually been phased out or died perhaps saving Prerna or Anurag from a mishap as a way to repent and atone for his actions. But Ekta was too enamoured with the idea of showing Prerna as the object of desire of an incredibly powerful and wealthy man who would make her pose like Paro from Meesho’s Devdas collection.

She got inspired by Bhansali’s aesthetics when it comes to Devdas I think. When she tried to make a show about a similar character it didn’t work.

Dunno about the Naagin thing as I don’t watch it. But in her defence, Dhurandhar 1 & 2 have the finest albums in the longest time in Bollywood, so she can’t be blamed. Because can you honestly recall any album in the last decade that has a similar appeal and has such fantastic songs across a wide range of genres and from various artists? Even if they’re recreated, like a lot of tracks are in both the Dhurandhar movies, the recreations suck. So she’s simply not cashing in on the popularity or just using their songs because she’s obsessed but because they’re genuinely the best albums to come out of Bollywood in over a decade. Even songs from her own new movie didn’t so much as register as a blip on the radar but people can hear both the albums on a loop, sing along repeatedly and not be bored.

But you know what...doing so actually ekta unknowingly paved a way for AnuPre fans to cherish their moment guilt free ....and much of the AnuPre fault were normalised

One more thing is that we fans would have much liked if Prerna chose to be single rather choosing either anu or Bajaj Dadda.... It could have been a better possibility to make three character's arc in their respective lives....

Even I claim, why to show Anu as bechara..... Make him a progressive smart businessman who doesn't compromise in business at least whoever it is and a happy single Dad...who doesn't bother to have any partner further being loyal to his lady love...

Make Bajaj as better businessman as he was ...and bit alone some for doing all the creepy things .... making him transformed with self punishment...

Make Prerna work independently under her own home she buys and takes her mother, daughter and son to her....or let herl be single parent with kids and her equation with both leads...

Doesn't MAKERS has that much mind to work on this simple plot even if it was 2004 and not I suppose 1934
